Yeah, I didn't finally play MM9 until a year or so ago, but it became my favorite MM Classic game by the end of it. Just great level and weapon design all around.

people in sports have desperately wanted New England to be good again because they can't stop slurping them over the last couple weeks

talking about how overlooked they are and how this might be Belichick's best coaching job ever

this was like how a baseball writer called the Dodgers "underestimated" against the Braves in the playoffs last month, just stop trying to make them underdogs

it's okay to admit you want to be a frontrunner like ExTha

Committee has to be rooting for Bama to beat Georgia so they can just not have to deal with Cinci

100% but UGA has looked clearly better than Bama against every common opponent they've shared so far. I guess Bama can outdo UGA against Arkansas this week but I wouldn't bet on it.

of course anything can happen in one game and UGA has lost two games against Bama in recent championship games despite barely trailing in either so who knows

Butch Davis is quitting as the Florida International head coach and is blowtorching the school on the way out, saying the administration is sabotaging the program because they haven't been allowed to recruit on the road during the pandemic, and they haven't spent money to even update the team's uniforms or equipment in a decade.

Arizona is getting smashed just how bad are the 49ers.

the thing about most backup QBs is that they're good enough to win you one game but don't bet on them to win you more than that

either that or maybe Carolina really was just a quarterback away

we came the closest so far with Cowboys/Falcons, only the 2nd 43-3 game in NFL history

Persona 3 nailed the endgame so hard that every future Persona game has and will be compared to it. The first half of the game is kind of a slog, but it picks up starting with the October full moon and the last month is just incredible in terms of atmosphere, characterization, and storytelling.

I don't understand why you run to the sideline if you're trying to do the "throw a bunch of laterals and hope for a miracle" play

that's how it always ends

you could play ten overtimes and nobody would ever score

This may follow suit.

we also had the Titans miss a tying FG as time expired against the Jets
