It looks like the scope in this first season at least is very limited, basically a fraction of the first book, which makes sense for TV. Psychohistory is a cool idea, basically statistical mechanics applied to people instead of molecules. I haven't seen Birds of Prey, the first SS, or the original JL version, but I WW84 is by far the worst of the others, which is saying something for the DCEU.
