They've submitted the necessary install permits to the utility company and they should hopefully be submitting install permits to the city this week. Once the city and the utility company approve it, then they'll schedule the install. I'm hoping that's gonna happen in the next 3 to 4 weeks or so. Be aware that a lot of those battery packs are pure bullshit numbers. 50,000 mah would be 15 18650 batteries, and I would guess 99% of battery packs claiming 50,000 mah are only large enough for like 5 18650, let alone 15. Like 50 amp hours is basically as powerful as a car battery. And lithium ion is good, but not that good. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if there's some finessing of the numbers. They still work very well to keep my stuff charged when I'm out and about. I buy them periodically to get more and more capacity. I'm not so much concerned with doing the math about how many amp hours it actually has. I just like having extra battery packs for things. --- |
