1.) do you think that's a gotcha? we're one of the most over imprisoned countries in the world that only compare with dictarships. Absolutely all people should be imprisoned less, not just white people.

Collin finished 29th in attempts, completions, and yards. Was 26th of 30 qualified in completion %, 26th in tds, 30th in first downs gained, 24th in y/a, 30th y/g, 23 of 30 in the god awful QBR, 10th most sacks taken (and 2nd in sack %), which resulted in his 29 of 31 for net yards/attempt. The only stat he was close to average in was the nearly as terrible as QBR passer rating where he was 17/30 due to the fact he didn't throw many interceptions.

how is it difficult to understand that the laws are created to unfairly punish minorities. Drug laws were targeted at drugs more common with minorities than with white. As a result their punishments are even more unfair.

The problem (for me at least) is if I'm trying to convince/ illustrate this to someone, saying "broad patterns" often isn't as effective as "X happens more to Y" or a specific example that *is* relatively comparable

Everyone knows the statistics and statistics are easy to dismiss with people doing what winrawr did, "oh it was probably because of" and handwave the problem away. It's much harder to have any empathy and look at the individuals getting fucked over by an unjust justice system. If the punishment doesn't fit the crime, because the laws were written to go after certain groups of people. That's just as much a problem as that black men are more likely to be convicted to jailtime then white men. That an innocent black man is going to wait 3 times longer to get exonerated as a white man.

it's not like anyone who cares isn't aware of the statistics.

Your significant other is a reflection of your choices, Colin made no statements against her and made no attempts to apologize to the ravens over it. When the NFL were forced into giving him a tryout, Collin felt the need to change the terms days before and turn it into another spectacle. Colin does not want to play in the NFL anymore, he only wants people to think he does because it helps his cause. Which is a great one, one i've actually donated too.

And Collin Kapernick isn't signing a contract for the same amount as Ben Dinnuci.

it's worth playing if you're subscribed and like 4x games.

It's not going to be as great as Civilization with 5 years of patches 2 expansions and a season pass. Combat becomes a very simple turn based battle. Which I generally enjoy as it allows you to leverage a little strategy and makes defensive terrain more valuable. I enjoy their city siege mechanic, basically you can siege a city and you'll build siege weapons while the defender will conscript more soldiers. Walls are actually more useful than in Civ games, since they don't just provide a flat bonus, they will prevent some units like Cavs from entering the walls. I really enjoy the gimmick of picking a different 'civ' each era as you tailor your perks as you play. The outpost/city system is also interesting. However war itself feels awkward. Basically as you win battles you gain war points and the enemy loses them, once they reach 0 points you're forced to end the war. Based on the points you earned you can make demands, but i've never had a war were I didn't have to give back territory I had conquered during the war. This can be immensely annoying when you go to war for a strategic resource and end up not being able to keep it so you ahve to wait a few turns to build up enough war wariness to go back to war and try again and hope this time you get what you wanted. This is by far and away my biggest complaint with the game as strategic resources are VERY limited, as I assume the game wants to encourage you to trade for it. But you frequently lose your trade routes with unclear reasoning (neutral units, war between the ai, or something).

There's enough in it to enjoy and there isn't anything fundamentally bad about it, but also at the same time as i'm working through my 2nd game i can see it eventually just pushing me back to civ until it gets either a large patch or an expansion to give it a try again.

i've gone to vegas twice. Didn't have any expectation to win. The first time i had $300 to lose and I lost $300, mostly on blackjack. The last time i lost maybe $100 in slots and $60 on sports bets.

xv is fun, the story is just mediocre because ffxiv's failure and ffxiii lack luster sales scared them off from doing a trilogy and they couldn't figure out how to condense the story back down. Gameplays fine, the brotrip is great, Ardyn is a great villian with a great backstory, literally ramen side mission.

on my current trajectory i'd probably have around a million in networth in my mid 40s. Though that would be including assets like a house and retirement accounts.

As well as netflix releases of El Camino and Marriage Story.

2018 had Bohemian Rhapsody, a terrible bruce willis movie called air strike, mid90s, The Hate u Give, Halloween, Goosebumps 2, First Man, A Star Is Born, Death Race, Venom, and again other indie and kids shit.

In a pre covid world, this is when your oscar bait starts coming, some low to medium budget horror movies, and there's always kids shit being churned out year round. And as mentioned the odds the big non warner brothers movies don't get delayed is slim as idiots can't wear a fucking mask.

they don't, they assumed because they probably had Klinefelter (which can make a male more effeminate with lowered testosterone) then they must have been non-binary which is attributing a genetic condition to people who consider themselves non-binary which seems contrary to the entire premise of gender not being defined by your biology.
