Not really. It's a pretty simple concept - your rights end when the negative impact on other people's rights outweighs the importance of you having that right. In the case of covid measures - especially the mask mandates, but I would argue even the vaccine - it doesn't just outweigh, it's not even close.

Also, FWIW, you never had an inherent "right" to enter a given business or similar in the first place. That's entirely up to the business to decide.

I'd actually favour tighter restrictions; but I recognise that I can't always have everything I want and a balance needs to be struck somehow. I'd prefer to see the scales come down on the side of caution, but I'd hope it doesn't have to be a permanent state of affairs. As time goes by, hopefully we'll develop new, effective, long-term ways to prevent or treat Covid and its variants, and then almost all of us can throw the masks away.

Until then, I don't believe anyone has the right to endanger life; and I don't believe it should be a matter of "personal choice" whether or not to get vaccinated or wear a mask, any more than it should be a matter of personal choice whether or not to get behind the wheel of a car while drunk. Do one or the other, preferably both, but you shouldn't be allowed to get away with doing neither.

Its kinda sketch that the 2/3 pharma companies with approved vaccines get to to benefit from governments legally forcing people to use their product, just a comment really.

Its also interesting how people interpret rights, right to endanger the life of others vs right to make your own decisions about your health

My wife has multiple immune disorders and even though we're both double vaccinated, the level of protection that it confers is much lower for her and even that level isn't going to be permanent. If I were to catch Covid, I might (or might not...) be too badly off; but if I pass it on to her, she could well be in some very serious trouble. So yes, I'm resigned to wearing a mask long term. I've nothing but profound contempt for those selfish, crybaby pussies who are so fucking weak, pathetic and childish they won't wear a mask when required for just a few minutes even to save lives.

Well I definitely do not think Karl was or anybody sensible is saying he caused it because you can't cause such a thing for somebody else.

i can't say who it was, but Billy Mitchell threads always pique my interest, and I think the hate for him is overblown and I genuinely believe that so don't interpret me as a troll, so I try to drop in to defend him, sometimes a little tongue in cheek but I believe he's not that bad.

But I've had a poster reply to me in one before and basically say he thought that Billy Mitchell was the reason for Apollo legend killing himself.

It is a sad situation, I used to watch apollo legends videos, I love him and summoning salts videos.
