Tbh I just don't get this.

Sonic Team has outright shown they don't have a clue. Even if a game is primarily 2D it's still usually mediocre. Slapping Adventure 3 on the end of a new release isn't going to lead to them knowing how to make a good game.

I have nostalgia for SA1 so I can still find enjoyment for that game.

But when I finally played SA2 I thought it was fucking awful. Basically a couple of enjoyable Sonic/Shadow levels at the beginning before the rest of the game just goes to shit. Awful level design. Crappy controls and camera. Knuckles/Rouge levels are somehow even worse than SA1 due to the radar picking up only one emerald because god knows why. The loss of the hub world makes the game feel less like an adventure. Story was bad. Just a crappy game all around.

It has been 20 years and they still haven't really figured out a way for Sonic to not feel like shit in a 3D space. Don't think they really have the skills to fix things in a remake.

At the very least it's doing things in a similar way as the Star Trek 2009 reboot. A character who knows about the events of the original has gone back and altered the timeline. Although the difference here is the game was mostly faithful until near the end.

The more I sit on think of these leaks the more excited I am. I have had some issues with the MCU Spider-man and it looks like the developments in No Way Home manage to *spoilers due to reading what is the supposed plot summary* course correct basically all of them. My biggest thing was that with the Stark backed support and the quickness of having his friends and family finding out his secret and supporting it he never really had to figure out this shit on his own like the adaptations I'm fond of. But in this it looks like they're setting up him fucking up and wiping everyone's knowledge that he's Spider-man including MJ and May. So he'll have to start from scratch again and will be truly alone setting the stage for him to be a more standard Spider-man.

Also man considering the hype for old actors returning the decision for Sony to try and spin off their own movies using Mobius and Kraven just looks so, so stupid. I wonder if they're even allowed to make a Spider-man 4 after their agreement with Disney now lol

Saw some of those leaked pics.

I can't believe after all of this time we're actually seeing Willem Dafoe as Gobby again.

Also I read some of the leaks and it looks like it doesn't really have anything to do with Loki. Strange and Peter accidentally resurrect a bunch of villains from other dimensions who last remember being killed by Spider-man because they're trying to do a spell that wipes out everyone knowing Peter is Spider-man.

Of course we can assume this is now possible due to Loki shenanigans but I expected the movies to handle it like this.

That's not really superficial crap. I'm trying to give reasons why the reaction was so overwhelming that some people speculated that Skyler was one of the most hated characters in television history. That's kind of a big deal. Think about it. A normal suburban mother who finds out her husband is a murderer involved in the drug trade is one of the most hated characters in television history.

It it that unusual? The innocent family member is pretty much always seen as a negative in shows like this. Either they sit around and do nothing but nag and be oblivious. Or they have their own plot which has to be its own drama away from the main conflict which tends to frustrate people who just want to see crimes and the tension that results from them. Most TV shows tend to struggle with these types of characters and overall I think Skylar was handled okay. It's just that the Walt and Jessie plots were way more popular and people didn't want to see Skylar.

Jack Bauer's daughter was handled way worse. She was running away from cougars in the second season of 24 so she had something to do.

But yeah it is possible that the future will be shit and bleak. But nobody having kids would guarantee that would be the case lol. Society kinda needs young people to function. That doesn't mean everyone should have kids obviously. People should do what they want. There isn't much that upsets me more than a kid having a miserable upbringing.

I get it. It just makes me laugh because if your nephews and nieces are already an exception then of course a kid of your own would be too. I absolutely adore my daughter in a way that surprises myself. There's like a biological switch in your brain that switches on under certain circumstances I think.

I kind of agree, they've failed to establish this Peter as anything more then a kid playing super hero. So to go from barely stopping small time crooks to the multiversal adventure feels jarring.

You skipped over the part where he went to space and fought Thanos on another planet lol

This Peter has always been more out there compared to the older live action ones. Even in Far From Home he believed he was saving the world from a multiverse threat and was stepping in for the Avengers.

At first I interpreted this episode as really dunking on Quill. Not only is he the unavoidable catalyst in losing to Thanos this episode outright shows a better galaxy without him being around.

But there are hints it's actually pretty fucked. Collector has Cap's Shield, Thor's hammer and Strange's stone. Quill has no one to pull him away from Ego. So it's actually a doomed universe. Ah well.

Honestly, fishing has always been an essential mod for me, so that I can RP survival.

But there have been fishing mods since shortly after release, so I don't know who this is aimed at.

Console players who don't bother with mods. I don't think the new release really does anything other than bundle it with some popular mods.

Yeah but in PAL territories for Enter the Gecko this wasn't the case. He was even marketed in a tux and with hot women. He constantly quipped like James Bond.
The weird thing is in the first game Dana Gould was used everywhere but I guess he didn't talk much there. But wasn't Crystal Dynamics European? I wonder how all of this happened. I guess because the references needed to be localised for each territory but this method is really extreme. He's basically a different character.

It's not really the same. There's no reason to be ignorant about a game before you play it. Maybe if it's an indie game on Game Pass.

I read a lot of magazines back in the day. Plenty of games went under the radar and only popped up for a review if that.
