So for Phi's ending I need all the codes from the other paths. I currently don't have all the codes from the other paths, it seems I'm missing bomb 2

Wait, so when Phi finds Alice unconscious in the Garden, is it a similar situation where she 'knows' Alice will be there, then they struggle and she loses consciousness? Unless something comes up to contradict that, that's my headcanon

I liked the mechanic with finding Alice too late and then jumping immediately back to find her in time

Sigma being a robot (I'm assuming a Gaulem) is an interesting proposition. It would explain the interface e.g. Zoom is him literally zooming, and how his memory is so good. I feel his timeline jumping could also be explained through that instead of being a natural ability. That said, Phi is the one with the superpowers which I'd personally expect a robot to have

Not a fan of Lock 7 and Lock 9 appearing to be the same situation, but I'll give it a chance to redeem itself if the content behind the locks ends up being the same

Either he was asleep for a lot longer than I initially assumed, or time travel shenanigans are afoot

Tenmyouji is Junpei and had an attachment to Akane. He was mourning the dead old lady. Maybe she's Akane? Though I don't get the age difference between those two and Clover

Did a few bad ends ands progressed past the 'prove it wasn't murder' lock. I'll continue with the director's office next time. I was in here as part of the story, maybe I'll get the key I need to progress in that part

I feel as though there's more locks than keys, though that's probably because the game doesn't explicitly point out when you've unlocked a key (except for the block on the key turning green)

So the extra info from the lab has some interesting stuff

The world speeding up around Sigma was the result of radical 6, which means he was infected in that one route. Similarly the suicidal urges, but I think I know that already

There's a doll called Jumpy that comes into play somehow, which means Akane is involved...

Also @Garioshi apologies for the tag, but was the stuff about violating causality (your choice in the future affects my choice in the past) scientifically accurate? My QM knowledge is centred on atomic/molecular structure so I could be wrong, but to me is sounded more like pseudoscience that's accurate within the context of the game as opposed to science/QM that's currently considered accurate irl

The dimension jumping is interesting and a good in-game explanation for the mechanic. I just noticed that when you go somewhere else in the tree it asks if you want to 'jump'. That's pretty neat too

The pressure in the building is 1.5atm. kinda higher than normal, but not overly so.

So now I'm wondering if my theory about "high pressure clones" is more likely to be right. Though someone built for 1.5 atm would probably survive at 1atm

I'm playing through 10 rn (though I'm currently on a break from it for VLR). It's definitely a different system to the other FFs I've played. It's close to a pure turn based system like DQ, but with an emphasis on swapping out characters in the middle of battles depending on how you need to hit your enemy.

Personally, I found 13s battle system to be really fun, but I'm not sure if it's available on Switch or not

Yeah, I wanted to sleep on stuff before I posted some thots:

Dio's religious rhetoric echoes what quark says in the routes where he attempts suicide. It's possible that radical-6 causes/was engineered by dio's cult to help further its goals.

Phi asks you to remember a code before you 'jump', presumably to enter it in a different route. In 999 the in-game explanation for using info from one route in another was that you were watching through Akane's eyes as she went through all possible future Junpeis until one managed to get to the incinerator and help her. I don't think that's quite it here, but it seems at the very least phi can do something similar and seems to think you can too. This might be the source of her superpowers, while simultaneously putting a dent in my 'phi is a gaulem' theory. It'd also explain why she knows things, and why she says you betray her in that one ending

(I'm reminded of that one skulduggery pleasant character whose power is that he knows things but I've forgotten the canon explanation for it. I remember my speculation was that he had a third eye that he could place in the world around him and see things from different points of view, but I also remember that that wasn't it. Don't remember what the deal was though)

Clover's story about what happened to her post 999 is probably legit, or close to it. Tenmyouji trusts her implicitly and in one route she trusts him back after he tells her something, which is interesting. Maybe he's related to a previous nonary game participant or something? Though there must be hundreds of people called clover with pink hair, so the odds that he'd find exactly the same one are pretty low

The pressure suit stuff has been bothering me. If they're wearing a pressure suit outside the facility, that means that the pressure of the whole earth has been lowered to compensate. That's ...not plausible, imo. It could just be a case of "it's only a game" but 999 was at least plausible in its (pseudo)science so I don't think the explanation they give is the correct one. Dio mentioned cloning, maybe the participants are "high pressure clones" that can't survive at 1 atm? Though that still doesn't answer 'why?'...

There's also something else that's bugging me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I noticed something during a puzzle, but then I had to go back to the puzzle and afterwards I'd forgotten it

Overall I'm liking the game. I'm confident that everything will come together in a satisfying way, and if it ends up having a 999 level twist then that's even better
