The shot makes it less likely you get sick and if you do, taking the pill within a few days of getting sympoms will greatly reduce your risk of bad stuff. Anyways, whenever the FDA and CDC and whoever else is involved with this shit decides it has been sufficiently long enough to look proper and not rushed. Though even then, it would need to be easily accessible. Like you'd need to be able to walk into a pharmacy, get a rapid antigen test and if it is positive, get the medication. There's a small time frame when it is effective and requiring stuff like getting a prescription from your doctor would easily cause people to get it after the effective window. --- I want a pet Lavos Spawn.
