Playing a single player game amongst people isnt what MMOs are about. It should be a world that feels inhabited by other players. FFXI felt like that in spades. Something very magical and rewarding about that game. The people you would meet. Makes me very nostalgic thinking about it. I especially miss the jobs. It would have been interesting to see how different the MCU would be today if Ant Man were part of phase 1 like they originally intended.
