Game Pass is also great. And also overwhelming. Just best to find your on balance. Don't force yourself to just play 1 game at a time, but if you want to finish something then don't let it go too long. That being said, the only thing to really keep an eye on is the "leaving soon" category. Everything else will still be there whenever ya get around to it.

And, just as I expected, Game Pass is simultaneously awesome and overwhelming.

ARR's soundtrack honestly didn't do much for me, but it improves significantly afterwards. It's not just better compositions, but the styles are more varied as well.

It's not the best RPG/FF out there, but it's definitely the most important. It made a lot of impressive graphical and stylistic changes at the time that made it stand out from everything else, and everyone finally took notice of the genre because of it

Are the controls sensitive?

I'm playing with the stick controls and not the motion controls. The sword moves around fine, but I usually need to tap in a direction a couple of times for it to actually do an attack. So attacking is usually me pressing right on the stick until the thing dies.

Attendees to the NYC ball drop already have to literally wear diapers or hold it in the entire time, now they're risking getting sick. What a miserable event.

This was the only mainline game I hadn't played until now.

It's...pretty good. I'm enjoying it for the most part, but already see why so many people didn't. It feels like the combat is going to be a little difficult solely from fighting against the mechanics.

The sky exploration is my favorite part, even if there isn't much there. It's like Wind Waker, but with flying

Crytek owns the IP, and gave them the go-ahead awhile back.

EDIT: THQ Nordic actually owns it now, but hasn't commented on it

Yeah, it's really single-player friendly. You do have to do dungeons and trials with other players, but unless you're doing Savage raids or something, communication is optional

It's the most plot-heavy one in the franchise, too

It's wild that Ford really did perform re-enactments of it later on in life.
