Every time he catches covid in his 60s hes rolling a near 5% chance of death that scales to about 10% in his 70s.

Keep in mind that rolling not death doesn't mean being okay, as covid, especially a severe case as older people are probe to get, can leave debilitating after effects. Also so called natural immunity wanes faster than vaccination as well, so he could potentially be rolling these chances of death multiple times a year.

So, eventually probably not okay.

I don't think this vaccine mandate is coming out at this point. Too much lobbying against it and legal threats.

None of the legal threats have any water. The vaccine mandate will happen, though probably not til after the holidays.

Oh. It does not download in the background, that kind of sucks.

It was definitely not pointing down through August. I distinctly remember multiple days of fresh reports of Florida hitting record high case number all through that month.

One of the larger reported days was actually an error where it was meant to be a bunch of cases spread throughout a week but was input as a single day.

I mean, they are probably actually down from the peak now, but the extent to which they are over continues to be misleading.

Nope, they've been doing it on cases as well. The trendline through august was continually pointing down.

Recent national numbers have actually become hard to judge as Florida has been back-reporting cases/deaths by a week and a half to two weeks for a couple months now. Every day in that period could be missing 10-20k cases and hundreds of deaths.

It was a genius method by Florida to make it continually seem like they were continually over the COVID hump when in fact they were in the middle of their worst wave of the pandemic.

Wow is a really good game, though.

It really isn't anymore. The raid bosses themselves are good encounters but every other piece of content this patch is subpar.

Every character in the story has been left on a cliffhanger with no growth or resolution or even a mention of the motivation to do whatever the hell they are doing.

The problem with the claim is that literally nothing has shown that this is happening anywhere from any variant of the virus. Whatever source this is sounds like Project Veritas-styled horseshit.

The misinformation started from a tweet about "breakthrough infections having a higher viral load than expected".

So they've been posting it and either ignoring or omitting the part of it being a breakthrough infection or the last part about expected to somehow mean greater than unvaccinated infections.

Basically completed bullshit, but easy to pass off to an uneducated population.

To be clear, the recall is extremely unpopular and the biggest issue California might have is convincing people it is not just a complete waste of time and they need to vote no or else the literal crazy people will get to govern the state for a year.

Is there a reason why there's no Democratic Bustamante figure running in the CA recall like last time in case Newsom loses? If Newsom loses the recall, some wackjob with 20% could actually win, but an anti-recall Democrat running as a backup could beat that pretty easily. Are California Dems just being that cocky?

That was the strategy in the last recall and it just raised the amount of yes votes. If Democrats pushed a candidate Republicans would push one of theirs as well and that candidate would inevitably win if 'yes' passed due to the amount of yes/no replacement selected votes cast.

The vaccines in no way allowed the delta variant to spread more easily in the population. Breakthrough infections, as in being able to test positive for the virus, are still relatively rare. They are still heavily disproportionate to cases in the unvaccinated population.

Here in California at least 80% of cases are among the unvaccinated with a majority of the population in the vaccinated group.

Yeah i started the night fresh in ultra 3 from the night before and close to a free bonus win.

With that and a 6 game win streak in between i ranked up in a hurry.

Crypto is hardly being used as a currency aside meme promotion sales and illegal activities.

People just like it essentially as a stock but as long as everyone just touts how much value it has in USD it really isn't going to change the world.

Just popping in to say that Biden being a pussy and not federally mandating vaccines to try and pin it on someone else to do it is bad.

The Supreme Court would probably eat this up and hesitancy would rise. Need the states to do it.

The funniest part about this is that I remember GameFAQs board members from 10-15 years ago swearing up and down that Blizzard was the best game company ever.

Blizzard would have had a similar culture of any gaming company back then but also was producing some of the highest quality games on the market while being far ahead of the curve on fostering a loyal community.

Not to mention providing solid support to the games you bought for 10+ years.
