| JeffreyRaze 06/07/21 2:14:52 PM #17 | 10 It sets out to do two things and nails both perfectly. Firstly, it's a portrayal of dealing with mental health issues done better than I've ever seen. Second, it really manages to wrap its themes into the gameplay. So much of the game is designed to feel hard, but doable. Struggling with the levels makes you feel the challenges Madeline is facing, and sets you up to overcome them. Sure, there's not a whole lot of stuff there, but I think it's exactly enough to do what it needed to do. I don't think I'd change any of it. --- JeffRaze, for all your random spellcasting needs |

The first is to make sure the keys aren't wasted by languishing in my bundle account for no reason, so I don't really mind if one person gets a bunch of keys as long as they're enjoying it. The second though is to spread the fun around, and give something to everyone on B8. I love this community, eternal lurker though I am. I'll admit I only watched the video that was linked. AOC didn't just say "I agree but..." she repeatedly said that both parties have failed and the current state is unacceptable. I don't see that as pandering, I see that as a message some people need to hear. As for the current state of things, I'm actually not as fussed about the number of minors compared to the conditions they're in. The problem was never how many people were there as the utterly inhumane treatment of them. Things are still awful, and we need to keep fighting to fix things, but if the voters keep getting hammered by people saying things are the same they're going to believe that. --- JeffRaze, for all your random spellcasting needs |

If Trump had the orphan crushing machine running at 100% capacity and Biden has it at 50%, that's still an important improvement even if nowhere near good enough. The problem is way too many people bothsides things and that leads to people putting it back to 100% because they've been told it's the same thing. By all means keep fighting to dismantle the orphan crushing machine for good, but it's important to acknoledge improvements along the way. If AOC said things were fine that'd be awful, but she starts off by saying that this is still unacceptable and hammers that home throughout what she was saying there.
