Lets go with that. I used to lurk myself before getting an account.

Inserting myself changes the objectiveness but you can't observe without changing the object. So maybe participating will counterbalance that effect.

Lurked forever but the way this community interacts is a fascinating study and I'm considering including it in my doctoral thesis.
