The last 2 days my wife has wanted to do 1-2 things for a couple hours total, eat lunch then rest the rest of the day in the room. I get the line you dont always have to be doing something on vacation. thankfully I booked tomorrows to be an all day thing with a good ending sunset cruise and what not. I hate wasting time just sitting in the room on vacation. And now knowing I have a 2 day drive back and I go back to work Monday.. it blows. Its depressing. ugh. --- Don't fail! | Agnostic420 04/15/21 5:54:54 PM #16 | They were even talking when she went back for a screening that if it was gone they were going to write articles and reports on her recovery because they were so happy with how it was going and how well it went for months, she got sent home. And even tho she was on the large breathing machine (man that thing is loud) and she didnt full have her strength back, she was still home. I thought she was going to make it out of the woods. | Agnostic420 04/15/21 5:51:24 PM #13 | Last update was: If at home hospice will help. Not sure how much but I would rather have her at home if at all possible. That way Tom and the kids can see her. She has 8 more treatments then we decide where to go then. I dont know how often they space these treatments out. Me and my mom have been through a lot. And its all so petty when this happens. I had to find out my dad died with a Google search to call him since he was in a hospital and found out that way. my grandma is 86 years old having to take care of my mom basically alone at her house. My grandma walks and drives and all of that. Ageless at that. Her faith helps I think. Yeah the agnostic guy mentioning her faith in God sorry now Im rambling. its not fair. I live 4 hours away with 2 kids and a wife and 2 jobs I cant do as much as I want. I feel like I havent done enough. Ive never been this alone surrounded by so much before. --- Don't fail! She got through all of the chemo and came home and was walking around when I visited last week. the one in her neck left but spread to the base of the skull and the spine. Im half way to Florida too when I got the news and they dont want me to come back home right now. I want to and I said I was going to and was told for now wed be in limbo. | Agnostic420 04/15/21 5:29:11 PM #1 | She came home too.. I visited last week. Few days ago she couldnt walk all of a sudden. So theres a tumor on her spine. It would be a 10-12 hour surgery and she declined that. they did another ct scan and apparently theres spots everywhere now :/ they dont want to do chemo to prolong her suffering. So shes being sent back home tomorrow with hospice. 34 and about to have no parents. F*** cancer. The spot on her neck shrunk severely and we thought she was out of the woods. But it seems as if not. edit: last I heard they were doing some type of radium treatment first. I dont know what all of that means. I dont know if I have days, weeks, months or years.
