I think Tali's felt more natural. The Quarian Pilgrimage definitely feels like an event designed to turn boys/girls into men/women, so her coming back more assertive is by design within her backstory.

I actually really loved everything in ME1 from Virmire onward (especially since it was my final core world mission).

Just that everything before that is pretty dull (repetitive planets, same building interiors over and over).

I hate doing Kasumi's loyalty mission so early cause now she's just kinda there for the rest of the game, but god damn do I love the Locust.

And then after the promises are unfulfilled, then the next problem occurs -- and that is -- it results in dependency and more poverty. And the last thing that you gotta calculate - depending on what manifestation this fully takes on in the end: How much freedom did you give up in the name of false security created by people that when you look deep inside, didn't really want to promise anything. They wanted to make you dependent on them so they can stay in power. It's that simple. That's what is -- that's the game that they play. It sounds appealing.

Here's my unsolicited advice to all of you, my wonderful radio family. Can't do this show without you.
Don't rely on the government for anything. Rely on yourself. Go out, work hard. Work 2 jobs, like my parents did. Save as much as you can so you can make choices down the road.

Well shit. Just learned on the Xbox version that if you turn the console off, the game still considers that running and kept the timer going so my 2 hours in is now 25 hours in.

Weirdly didn't do that for ME1.

There's no way way to unequip heavy weapons (ME2), right? This is a silly gripe, but I've always disliked the way they look strapped to Shep's back, and I never use them so I'd rather have them gone forever.

That's the only reason I stick with the flamethrower - it's the least ugly looking.

Same energy here, dude. I HATE the heavy weapon look on the back of the armor.

Like Jade is mostly upset Luke didn't consult him on his plan (and mentions how they could have evacuated the city) and then decided to leave because he doesn't want to deal with Luke's ranting. At no point in that initial scene does he say he blames Luke for what happens. And most of the responses go that way.

Natalia mentions how he's a complete different person after the kidnapping.

Anise says he's not worth the time.

Guy says Luke should stop because he can't think any lower of him.

And Tear comments about how she once thought there was some good in him.

Basically they're more upset with his response than what he actually did.

Yeah rewatching the scene, everyone stares at Luke but don't say anything. He then starts ranting, first saying it's not his fault, saying its Master Van's fault, then accusing the others of being powerless to stop it either (this is when most of the crew turns on him), before Mieu tries to compare his situation to Luke's and Luke screams "Don't compare me you YOU!"

Basically if Luke showed an ounce of empathy or humility or anything there it probably could have played out differently. But once again, Luke is a terrible person so he acts like a putz.

You know I held off on pointing out that multiple people in the topic don't care that Tear kidnapped Luke accidentally but blame Luke for Akzeriuth, but hey thanks for putting up the strawman for me

I don't actually care if Tear kidnapped Luke, but Luke definitely could have - and didn't really, which is a point against him being a TOTAL asshole (even if he is one)

But... Luke did care, and bitched about it constantly. And Tear IMMEDIATELY said she would get him back home, instead of going "it's not my fault!"

Also remember that Mieu is the only member to actually take Luke's side and try to comfort him after the sinking of Akzeriuth he tells him to shut up because of course the one character that actually stays loyal to him he still treats like crap because, get this, Luke Fon Fabre is a horrible person.
