It just made me get better at the game. When your punishment for dying is staring at a bar for minutes, you tend to avoid death more often... However, it still fucking sucked and was not justified. Not to even mention how easy you died, meaning many many many load screens. Graphics matter quite a bit, when you're comparing a game with a distinctly realistic style. Gameplay was light-years above PO. I was talking more about customizing your soldiers. You could customize their clothes, weapons, loadouts, vehicles, etc. PO, if you had a soldier...they would always wear that outfit. Which was annoying. I remember I was SO proud of myself. Used to watch UPN just on MLK day just to see their usually awful MLK movies. So basically one person donated the whole amount and 149 others gave a few dollars. That's a tactic people use to figure out support and get a few extra dollars/sales with a side of advertising. You put out a product, fund it yourself, then the excess is just sales, support, extra money. Then you can advertise the Kickstarter and get free cash. Sometimes it hurt, sometimes it felt like nothing was there. I didn't do anything but eat, browse the web, etc. I was miserable. I got out of it, thankfully. And I hope you can too. The bright side is, once you finally drag yourself out of that hole, you'll feel a LOT happier. And I'm hoping you feel that happiness, TC.
