Okay I'll get real.

It's painfully obvious that you've got this idea in your head about what the show is supposed to be and it was never anything more than nostalgia that existed in your head. It was a fantasy you cooked up. A better time that never actually existed. Fanfic. Headcanon. All to make yourself feel smarter for having figured out the lore and themes of a fucking commercial.

Something about this version of the franchise bothered you, and I'm putting dollars to donuts it's not respect for the lore.

But you'll never admit that.

The show having legitimate flaws does not make you "wrong" for enjoying it.
Nor are things you don't enjoy necessarily "legitimate flaws".

I'll see if I can find any examples of Adam himself doing something in the old cartoon.
You do that. I'll be playing Ace Attorney.

Then why doesn't he have shit animation and why isn't he voiced by John Erwin?

Does it matter if he's right or wrong? Is that all that's important?

Show me the old show's Adam. I'm largely going off my memory of him. I seem to recall the show largely paying very little attention to Adam as a separate character but I might be misremembering.

Which implies that Adam having rippling glutes and a giant neck makes everyone an idiot for not connecting that he's He-Man, Teela most of all.

My problem is that they made Adam a weak beta cuck
Wasn't Prince Adam's deal that he wasn't as capable as He-Man? Or am I misinterpreting the original work?

I seem to recall that's largely what Teela had against him in the original series.

If anything I feel that the original series didn't convey that enough.

Look at this goofiness:

It's just a prevailing meme. Kiryu has never stated outright that he won't kill, but it very much seems that the games will go out of their way to prevent Kiryu from needing to make the call, which is to say that if the enemy dies, it will either be by their own hand, or another (evil) character's.

Shocked this hasn't been posted yet
Because the conclusion at the bottom doesn't match the context of the scene. For one, neither is fully in the right or fully in the wrong. They each call a truce on it by the end of the episode and I suspect it's going to be further resolved by the end of the next five episodes.

Furthermore, Teela isn't mad at Adam for dying. She was mad at him for never confiding in her, his best friend, when he confided in others close to them. That hurt is real, and Adam dying doesn't make it better.

Also Adam didn't die "to save Teela" specifically. He died in his general universe-saving role as a champion. To put it another way, he was a soldier fighting for his country and the argument that meme is making is basically saying he's owed respect and forgiveness for doing his duty. I'm sure we've all heard stories of soldiers who hide behind their service to excuse their behavior in civilian life.

Yeah, that was later called "Wiki" and it's what I was referring to.

And it failed hard. When you've already got Wikia well-established as a resource and a community for little fandoms to gather, and when the people who come to this site do so for the full guides, not to add little bits that are can't be curated to a collaborative effort that can be replaced or messed up at any time, what was the point? Anyone who just wanted to add little bits of info were already doing it elsewhere, and anyone who wanted more ownership was already making their own guides.
