Then you get those things, and you need this and that after this and that. It is never enough and people will always tell you that you need more, because they want to feel like they either made it, or want to feel above others. Because deep doen, everyone feels like they didnt do something correctly. The secret is to be happy where you are, and with what you have. Dont buy cars you cant afford. Dont by a home you cant afford. Buy what you can, and love it, because it is yours. Trust me, i had that dream job and it didnt make me happy. I was happiest when i was working graveyard for crap pay but low rent, good friends, and freedom. I found what i loved, and chased it. as for things like debt, there are ways around it. School debt sucks, but there is 0ibr with forgiveness at the end, and even strategic default and settlement for private. Credit doesnt matter if you dont have or need much, and even then, i know a mother of 3 with worse debt than most, and she found ways around it. Bro, you are not in a bad place. You are comparing yourself to others. You have a job, a home, hobbies, and friends. Thats great. I live in a foreign country and dont have many friends, so I do feel a bit envious. Student debt from Harvard kids isnt an issue, and they are the scarecrow.
