Lol, I just tried to grab one at 3:50, just to see if I could. The moment it hit 3:50, I refreshed and hit add to cart "this item could not be added because it is out of stock". And it immediately changed to "this item will be back at 4pm est"

Yes, they absolutely can. But they can also confuse other feelings, like lust, for love. So not every teen that says "I love you" is really in love, but that doesn't mean that it can't happen.

But I know that some people very adamantly believe that teens can't experience true love. I remember when I was in 10th grade, 2 of my classmates were gossiping and saying I was in love with this girl (I only said she was cute) and the girl's older sister heard them say that. She blew up at me, saying "you're too young to understand what love is" and that I shouldn't go around saying that I love someone, until I'm older... Yeah

I voted for everything except things like YouTube, but I typically don't need subtitles for American cartoons.

But live action shows on Netflix, Hulu, etc., I'll usually use subtitles, because they jump from loud to whisper quiet. Same thing for video games. If the volumes high enough that I can easily hear the quiet scenes, then the explosions are about to make my room shake lol.

Wow, and I thought the counters I've experienced so far were bad. Counter any ability sounds incredibly annoying.

It wouldn't be nearly as bad if it was only active during certain times, like if the enemy defaults, then they counter certain moves until they act.

I never owned a DS/3DS, so I never played the original games and Bravely Default 2 has been perfectly understandable so far. You should be good to go.

Tons of people still play MMORPG's. Obviously the ones that are over 15 years old are going to have declining populations. But they're still sustainable.

One problem though, is that a lot of games started adapting time gated content to stretch it content. Dailies and Weeklies limit how fast you can progress. No point in being online constantly, when it's like that.

Wouldn't what you're describing be lack of deep discounts, rather than insane price points? Games on other platforms are also $60 at launch.

But no, it doesn't ruin my experience. I buy a lot of games day 1, so it's no biggie. I currently have 11 games on the Switch. Compared to my PS4 and PC libraries, that's chump change.

Yes. I enjoyed it. They definitely didn't fully commit to the detective elements, so it still mostly feels like a Yakuza game. The story was enjoyable and the side quests are wacky.

And I never even noticed the super armor mentioned above. I just liked how different his 2 fighting styles were compared to Kiryu.

And the combat system is serviceable but is a noticeable step back from the others. 4 and 5 get better, what with multiple characters to play as, but 3 is still a good entry. It was my first Yakuza and though it has a slow start, the plot is pretty great.

I know people say you can start anywhere in the series, but starting with 3 feels like it would suck, since it spoils things from 1/Kiwami. But I agree, the story is still good.

I think New Zealand is a great example of how well it works when Covid is taken seriously. So no, I don't think that's ridiculous. They lockdown, new cases stop, then they go back to normal.

Each game is pretty long though and the combat, while fun, isn't all that deep. It's not hard to burn out. Especially since you don't like the story.

I've done my fair share of hating on FF7R, but if we're being fair, it hasn't actually been that long since the release. Not surprised there's no date for part 2 yet. Mass Effect knew from the beginning that it was going to be 3 parts and it was still about 3 years between the 1st and 2nd games.

Anyway, I would say no. Most 19 year olds aren't all that different, maturity-wise than high school teens. There are exceptions to that of course. But that's why I generally find the idea of dating someone that young, so unappealing now.
