Im usually pretty cool headed but ive literally had girls make a point of it when they see me get mad and say they love it. And I told the first girl I was ever intimate with that I cared about her despite every more experienced friend telling me to never tell her how i felt about her because she wasnt my gf. I can see how shit like that can happen. In my 20s i knew a lot of rich kids who liked the aesthetic of being poor so they moved in those more low socioeconomic places. so they could act poor and like they were struggling but obv they didnt have to actually struggle and be poor since they had their parents and trust funds to pay for stuff. then more of their rich friends move into the area acting poor, then im guessing their families and peers see it as a business opportunity and build the place up to keep it low key safe for their kids then once they grow up and get over the 'poor aesthetic' the place is gentrified enough to start their families and live their white collar lives lmao.
