I think the way it works is you fly to an island, go up to an altar, and you get a quest. Then completing the quest gives you whatever the equivalent of the Spirit Orb is. I expect that rumored Donkey Kong game, and apparently HAL said there will be "multiple" Kirby games in 2021, and so far we have seen nothing. So maybe whatever the follow up to Star Allies is will be announced. Maybe we'll see BotW2? Like Chaos is a raid boss in XIV. And there's an entire raid series dedicated to the Crystal Tower, and the CT itself holds major story significance.
