Why do cops even have melee weapons if it's not to non-lethally engage melee weapon users. Just to bash unarmed protestors? There's a reason a cop carries a baton and not a sword like an old timey knight ya know.

What gets me is the sheer amount of time the cops stand around looking dumb-founded just telling people to calm down and glancing at each other before on-screen calling for help when every second counts in a medical emergency after every single one of these.

So about three years ago my mother passed away and, long story short, I agreed to let my no-good brother and his girlfriend live there because he didn't have anywhere else to go and he's family. He just had to pay me a little bit (very reasonable I know he was broke) of rent to help us both out. Well we don't get along very much so it's not like we made the effort to see each other so I didn't know how bad my mom's former house was getting.

Cut to a week or two ago and my brother is gone, who knows, he does this sometimes. I'm not worried about where he went or getting any money out of him or anything like that. My concern is that the house is destroyed. Furniture covered in animal fur, skud on everything, it's grungy, there's an aura of just filth in the air you can kind of feel it. I don't know if they didn't clean the entire time they were here or not but it's trashed. Garbage all over the floor; paper towels, old cardboard boxes, used pads, food trash, and even some animal feces. Full of bugs too needless to say. My mom loved to clean so she would have hated it lol.

Okay, my question is; I need to pay someone to help clean this up. I'm just not sure who or what to call. I need someone to clean up all this garbage, haul away all this ruined furniture, scrub the heck out of everything, mop, basically, the works. Also, I need an exterminator. What complicates things is that this was my mom's house and we kept a lot of sentimental stuff around here so I need to be able to have someone who can pick through this nastiness and find out if all my mom's sentimental stuff is just already ruined. And find it under all this trash. Should I call an exterminator first, or a cleaner first? Is there a cleaner that will do it all, or do I have to find separated folks to haul stuff away, etc. Thanks!

Well, yes, but I also feel like they raised the production bar by a lot and it made for more epic episodes here and there
I hated Dorne and I hated the High Sparrow storylines (besides how the High Sparrow one ended, which was great)
I also thought Ramsay totrute overstayed it's welcome
But we still got episodes like Hardhome, Battle of the Bastards, The Door, Winds of Winter etc
The real story problems started in Season 7 (besides Stannis, which started in S6) but we still got great episodes like The Spoils of War

Also I noticed that the Littlefinger death episode got 9.4 in IMDB and this is so damn stupid what the fuck are those people thinking
That episode was a disgrace
Killing the main mastermind of the whole show so easily just because Brian has map hack is so lame

I've never understood how people didn't see the writing on the wall for Season 8's badness in Season 7. That season sucks almost as much.

I think humanity as a majority has become more progressive than The Founding Slave-Owners ever intended it so our current system is literally not set-up to do this stuff that they never even considered and those in power already tend to be on a forty-year progressive lag.

Theres not even a satisfying/logical end point where you can go, watch it but stop here to a new fan like you can say for other horrible finals shows like Dexter. Its one continuous thing that doesnt end till the finale poisons it all the way down. I got so obsessed into GoT when I watched it, knew all the houses, got the first book hardcover, knew expanded stuff, spent hours reading speculation.. it was so good! But it salted the earth and I never wanna hear about Game of Thrones again. No happy emotions at all thinking about it now.

Its my latest obsession! Its been so good and Ive introduced the show to four other people. I cant wait for new episodes. I never read the comics so I went into the show totally blind and I wasnt expecting it to be this good.

I feel like it got worse and worse so slowly that it was hard to notice. There were definitely more bad parts as it went on. Most of it was still okay compared to most TV. I wish the final season had at least been on a season 4-5 level. God it could have at least been the same amount of episodes as every other season Im sure it wouldnt have been perfect but it would have helped substantially.

It was just a disaster; the good characters got a crappy end, the bad characters got a crappy end, they even managed to ruin the character of the dragon who up till then had two intrinsic character traits; be loyal to Dany and breath fire and then his final act is to do neither.

I think for Mulan it was something like being recognized by the Emperor like she was is just as good as being a princess.

In Disneys defense, the source material they make their movies from typically has Princesses at much younger ages.

If they can make anime characters say theyre sixteen when the source material says theyre 11 in the nineties they can say the princess is whatever age they want.

Honestly, it makes sense to me. We want to encourage green energy and environmental conservative, so a mileage tax encourages less driving, more public transportation, and more electric cars so you're not hit as hard by a double dip of gasoline and the mileage tax. The only real problem is, as stated, it's extremely difficult for someone lower class, who has to rely on a non-electric car, to make up for this. But since it's accounted for after the fact (I'm assuming), perhaps there's a way to set an income threshhold so low-income workers won't be impacted by the mileage tax.

If you lied to a person and told them they were going to get something if they first give you something and then you, say, paid them $1,000 dollars and then didn't get shit it'd be literally fraud. If someone went into your house and took your property by force it would be robbery, if someone went into your house and had sex with you by force it would be rape. Stealing property by deception is fraud. So why isn't there a rape equivalent for stealing by fraud? Property is more valued than women.

Well I was thinking about the original Avengers movies where they formed which is kinda this Justice League cuts counter-part. It's not my fault the MCU movies have had a million movies since then. Maybe they bickered some, but at least Civil War wasn't before the first Avengers.

I find it really weird how the MCU ended up being a team of mostly do-gooders who bonded together to protect people as their number one value but in the DC Cinematic Movies theyre just a group of super powerful incredibly flawed and broken people who just happened to come together when traditionally Marvel and DC were literally the exact opposite.

You used my numbers but made up some four-bedroom house when I didn't specify so your attempt to demonstrate your point failed. I remember when they were the kids rooms but not anymore now young people are too over-burdened already to have kids but no one cares. We were told we would have our own house now it's our own room small just like when we were kids splitting the rent four-ways and being told that's being provided for when the landlord just ticks their prices higher and higher. Are you just making that up, are you just assuming that there are, that there must be? Because there aren't cheap places to rent anymore.

It isn't 1200 for a four bedroom house, that would be much more, that's the problem. It's 1200 for a shit-shack. Since when is a four bedroom house intended for adults. When I was young those were the kids rooms.

If the rent is $1200 and the government sends you a check for $600 a month it isn't the government providing you enough the rent for 7 months if you live with someone else and split it between you. Providing the rent would be $1200 for 7 months. It's very fast don't get confused. And it's not even $600 a month, it's less, and the rent can be more, so add more people. So many people are having to share a house to pay the rent these days might as well make communal housing.

Having to split the rent with multiple people to pay the rent is not in any sense this check "covering the rent" it's crafty people doing the best they can to survive.
