Only the busiest of busy stores will have devoted insiders that do the bulk of the work and that's only because the drivers are so busy delivering, there is literally no time for them to do anything else. If you can get in as a driver at such a store. Go for it. In fact, most pizza places, you do WAY more than drive. Driving is the primary function, but there are down times with no deliveries, and they require you to work.
