We don't know how big or small of a deal it might actually be when it comes to policy in general because we don't know the details surrounding pretty much any of it. Clearly there was some level of "X is okay, Y is sorta okay, Z is not okay" because there were varying levels of action taken. We can't just blanket say "This means it's fucked, policy-wise" right away. Both times I attempted to discuss the details, you basically went "shutup that's not the point." That's why I said you took a "the sky is falling" approach. You're just instantly, automatically assuming the absolute worst and getting on the case of anybody that doesn't. Maybe you're right. Maybe you're not. We literally don't know, and there's no point in freaking out over it now. Right, but my point is standard would mean it gets darker even EARLIER in the summer when it's already getting darker earlier than I'm used to to begin with, which is why I'd pick DST over standard. But then if you keep it that way all year round, you're getting light at like 5am and dark at like 7 (or earlier if you're at the beginning of a timezone) in the summer which sucks, too.
