Why not figure out how both people in this situation came to be in their position and how to avoid it in the future. We don't know why the kid ran, we don't know why the cop shot him. Maybe the kid ran because he was afraid of ending up in this situation in the first place, right or wrong? Maybe the cop fired because he was scared for his life rather than being a hateful racist. Even more crazy, people can look at situations on a case by case basis rather than taking a hard line that x is always wrong and y is always right. Kneeling on someone's neck for 9 minutes straight who is already incapacitated? Overkill, cop should be hit with the full force of the law.
