This seems to be the trend for new gacha games in 2021, or at least, it's becoming Boltrend's favorite pastime. Can't crash and burn later if you're already a mangled wreck on fire I guess.

Mind you, I haven't personally had any problems with Disgaea (...yet), but I know others who did and understandably bailed on it.

I want to be excited for the Mega Man game, but I think one of my other games died today.

It seems like Ninja Maidens might have been shut down, or at least the mobile version was. The game crashes on launch, and it was de-listed from one of Nutaku's sites. (.net)

It still shows up on their other site though (.com), and claims to be "PC browser only" but I don't have access to a computer to actually check if that version still works.

Really? First time I've heard of it, and I certainly don't recall seeing any scenes to imply it either.

As far as I ever saw, the only characters with any romantic attachment was Tidus and Yuna, but that's obvious as hell.

Best I can assume is the whole Tidus "affection" mechanic that determines which of the gals shows up during his Blitz Ace limit and which one he interacts with most during certain cutscenes, and since I typically ended up with Lulu, that it somehow overwrites most of these Wakka and Lulu moments that would otherwise be common on a different playthough.

Even if Megatron spawned with the sole intention to kill me, I would just end up instantly, painlessly vaporized because literally every version of him carries a big ass cannon that punches holes in other giant robots so you can imagine what it would do to a tiny little meatbag.

Megatron, doesn't even really matter which incarnation either.

On one hand, there wouldn't be any Autobots/Maximals around to deal with him, and there's no hyper-competent, nigh-super heroic US military in this reality either.

On the other hand, he's not going to accomplish much overall mayhem without his Decepticon/Predacon army, and he's savvy enough to not just start blasting away without a reason and not knowing *possible* terran threats yet. Hell, you could probably even manage to parley a temporary truce with him by offering human-side assistance and information (especially if this is G1 Megs who can't even use his alt mode without another person, lol).

Sure, he'll probably double-cross you in the end once he gets that Space Bridge built, and you'll likely get labeled a traitor of humanity for helping to usher in an alien robot conquest, but hey wacky frenemy antics with your gun/tank/t-rex pal in the meantime, yesss.
