Why are you misusing the word literally? I clearly have an idea as Ive made tens of thousands of dollars from options, but simply never encountered a time when I wanted to close one when it was in the money.

I thought its a zero sum game meaning if I close the option Id have to pay back whatever the gain from the strike price is?

If you own stocks that are currently way below where you bought them,you should sell calls on them at least at your entry price, if not lower (depending how far down you currently are). Its literally free money.

I hope you are seeing calls on your existing positions.

People think it's 8181 because that's what it says. However, you need to remember he's looking through a mirror. That means it would actually be 1818. HOWEVER! He is seeing the address from the inside of the store, meaning you'd have to reverse it a second time. So it's 8181 after all.

Sold another RIOT call at $30 for next Friday. Between the two premiums I netted $10k. Im currently down around $13k. So if it strikes next Friday, Ill only lose around $1k. Ill take that.

Bought $127k of RIOT. Then sold a call for $5500 expiring Friday for $33, which is basically its currently price. Worst case scenario it crumbles next week, Ill just keep selling calls until I break even.
