It was mostly uphill and the entire time I was trailing behind because I'm still out of shape and I'd never done anything like this before. I thought about quitting a few times. When we were on the bridge though, during a full moon, zooming by all the cars stuck in traffic, I was just like, holy fuck, this is one of the best things I've ever done. I had to leave early so I could still catch the subway back, which sucks because the return ride would have been mostly downhill and probably even more fun. The next day I skated around Central Park two or three times and that was also awesome. I have Roces X35s. https://www.roces.com/en/x35-3x110-tif-black-white.html Never knew about triskates until I got back into inline last fall, but now that I have them they're easily the best skates I've ever had. So fast and can handle any terrain. The stock liners are also great, way more comfortable than the ones that came with my Roces M12s. Do you have a workout/stretching routine?
