I really don't get the appeal with Xenoblade. It just seems like a big boring world with too many boring things to do. I played it for like 10 hours before giving up and I was only at like the second major town location

Nerds according to the flowchart, which seems to ring true. The only issue is I went to a low-income working class school, so very few of the kids had white-collar aspirations, which the flowchart identifies as a major component of the nerds clique. Of my closest group of friends (i.e. those I actually hug out with outside of school), over half would have ended up in the Losers classification based on the flowchart.

Cliques blended together at my school, so they weren't really set in stone. But, I was more or less with the skaters/stoners.

Most of the evidence for it is just "hey look at this, kinda sus mirite?" which is maybe a launching point for investigation, but the investigations happened and nobody could come up with anything.

Trust me, I care about the truth and I have a contrarian streak, if there was a massive cover up I'd be at least somewhat aware of it, and even I'm like "that's a hard no from me, dawg" because there is simply no evidence for it.

I didnt have one. Id make a new set of friends every year and then just not keep in contact with them besides saying hi when we saw each other in the halls

Well that would invalidate your chart then, given that the only one of those that's commonly played at schools here is basketball. Granted, I was one of the better players in my year but it very much wasn't a jock sport. Football and rugby were much more so.

Didn't particularly stick out too much in one specific subset. I had friends in all kinds of cliques and sub-groups. Some were pretty popular and well known around the school. Others were just going about their day and kept to themselves at times.

So yeah. Wasn't popular enough to hang around all the cool kids all the time, but had enough social skills to befriend a bit of everyone from every clique and get invited to parties and get-togethers outside of school and stuff.
I was basically a glorified background character lol

The guy who is cool with everyone, but not in a Clique, is almost always a Loser based on the taxonomical tenets of Clique Theory, as following the flowchart will no doubt demonstrate.
