Ah well, Richter is cooler I would have loved a Simon series, but given the context it would have been incredibly difficult to make his story into a tv show. He literally solos Dracula, and when he collects the parts of Dracula it is more interesting and involves village people, it's still just mostly him vs Dracula. Really your just making up your own story at that point. In fact the only really plausible shows in context are Trevors, Richter's Rondo/Symphony, and 1999. For example, drill sergeants make fun of the people in sick call who are lagging behind , and everyone laughs at them. I never did sick call, but my battle buddy went to It and you go wherever your battle buddy goes. And even then I felt disgusted looking at all the people there, convincing myself they weren't really sick they just wanted time off from training. Ashamed of it now, but that's the mentality the army puts on their soldiers. One if our sayings is "suck it up and drink water", enuff' said really. If I loose 65 right now, Ill be at 150, which is 21 on the BMI Scale, so sure, you win TC. Cant believe that, but I was 155 right after I left Basic training, and was 142 in high school. Sergeants used to laugh when I had to get weighed cause I was so skinny, I was 165 or so when I left the military. They thought the success of the show was because of them, and not GRRM's story, so they cut so many storylines, streamlined the world when GRRM expanded it, treated Act 2(Story Expanding) of the story like the start of Act 3(Winding down). These guys openly said all they cared about we getting to the red wedding, and they would be cool with the show being cancelled aslong as they got to that. They didnt care about anything after that, and it shows. This show wont make that same mistake. They have the Lore guy D&D had to keep their story on point Ryan Condel, and it has Miguel Sapochnik the guy that made great battle sequences. Plus we dont have to worry about the White walker end of the world shit, its all political intrigue and dragon battles.
