Weird, because in the recent Q and A video the main translator (for Ao/Azure) said most of them would be overjoyed to have their translation used in the official English version, they just don't think it's likely to happen due to all the legal issues.

Maybe they changed their mind then because they definitely said t after Zero.

It's crazy how they never translated the Crossbells games and then made them a big part of the story later down the line.

It's like telling someone to read the Harry Potter series and then telling them they can only read the first two and last two books.

What do you mean down the line? Zero was important from the start considering Estelle and Joshua tell you in 3rd they're in Crossbell and Ao sets up Cold Steel.

Everyone wanting an official translation, I'll be honest, the Geofront is every bit as good as a Nisa official localization would be.

I've played the crossbell games in Japanese and I played Zero with the Geofront localization after. Its a very good localization on par with anything I've seen from Nisa.

NISA kinda sucks at translating though. Geofront is on par with XSEED's translations of Sky 1, 2, 3 and CS1 and 2.

Everyone talks about FF6 like it's the greatest game ever made. I played it for the first time in the mid 00s expecting this super amazing god tier game and I was sorely disappointed. I feel like people who say FF6 is the best game ever just have nostalgia glasses on. The OST is good but I don't really care for the rest of the game. It's like a middle of the road FF game for me.

My overall favorite is Hearts R. I like the story and characters and the battle system is amazing. My least favorite is Zestiria with Berseria being a close second. I hate the battle system in those two games and forced myself to get through them.

Hollow Earth Theory was brought up in the second Godzilla movie, Godzilla Raids Again. I don't know if that's where Legendary Pictures got the idea from, or if it's just a coincidence, but it does have a basis in the Toho movies.

Likewise, there's a throwaway line in King Kong vs Godzilla where they speculate that Kong and Godzilla are continuing a prehistoric war between their two species.

The post credits scene of King of the Monsters has an ancient drawing of a Kong fighting a Godzilla.

They're def gonna let Bucky be Cap in the MCU eventually, but right now if makes more sense for it to be Sam.

Unless Sebastian Stan stays in the MCU for a lot longer then he won't and I don't see him being part of it for much longer anyway.

Anyway, I do prefer Bucky being Cap over Sam as well. The relationship between him and Steve was really important to both of them and I thought it would have been good for him to carry on the mantle of his best friend. Either way, neither of them compare to Steve unfortunately.

the real issue with junction is it incentivizes you not to use magic at all, you dont want to decrease your overall damage potential after all. i guess if the balancing was better it would force you to either rely on weaker spells for damage while junctioning stronger spells for bonuses, or push you to hyper focus each character so you can rely on some stronger spells, but from what i remember it didn't really hit that level of balance.

But why would you need to use magic at all when you can spam limit breaks? It's so easily abusable in 8 and is the only fun part of the battle system in that game.

My issue with the Aang and Ozai fight was one, Aang sucks. Easily the worst character of the main group and the one interesting thing the fight had going for it was magically solved with spiritbending. The other was the first half was Aang running away until he got the Avatar state back and then Ozai ran away. It was just people running from each other.

I've been rewatching it and I realized Boy Meets World was good until the senior year of high school. I think that was the year Rachel was introduced. Eric became a huge dumbass and Cory and Topanga became insufferable, especially Cory. Cory easily became the worst character in the show in the senior year and on.

Y4 is one of the best games in the series and I've seen a lot of people saying Y5 is better. I think you'd be doing a disservice not playing them. I just started Y5 and it's got me pretty hooked so far. I'd put Y4 right under 0 for best in the series so far.

I didn't, but that's not my point either. You have access to so much healing through chakra and pray and whatever in hard mode that not being able to recover your MP isn't an issue. Plus you have access to all your gear and it should have been leveled up already. The only way I could see people saying hard mode is actually harder than normal is if it's one of their first ARPGs ever.

Playing through normal mode and not noticing that Tifa completely breaks the game and not abusing it is insane to me. She shits out damage that nobody else in the party can compare with. If you only used Cloud maybe I can see it. He's the worst party member and the other 3 do everything he does but way better.

Yes there is lol. For speedrunning the game it's widely agreed in the community hard mode is easier than a fresh new game normal mode is. It would be even easier if you played the game normally because you have access to even more things than a speedrun would.

Maybe you approached it wrong. The general consensus is hard mode is easier than a fresh NG run because of all the materia that can heal you without using MP. The hard mode they implemented is incredibly dumb though. Who the hell wanted that?

I can agree with most of what you said, but the game is not challenging in the slightest. If you regularly upgrade your equipment the game is stupid easy. I never took any weapon upgrade that increased my attack or magic stat and it felt like I was still breezing through it.

Because the game had pretty solid, consistent performance on PS4 Pro. Unless they uncap the frame rate, I can't see how it'd have much in the way of performance improvements.

Yes, it runs at 60 fps.

It's also the only way to play the DLC if you want to play it.

I agree that he's complex but he's complex in the same ways that Superman is complex. He's righteous to a fault and take him out of his leadership role, he doesn't have much room to blossom as his own character.

Hell yeah, Turtles in Time was one of my favorite games growing up. I hope its a love letter like Sonic Mania.

They put a lot of love and care into Streets of Rage 4 to make it feel similar to SoR1, 2 and 3. I have no doubt they'll do this justice as well.

Sephiroth was only hinted at and didn't show up until later. They decided to turn him into Jaws and make him show up every 3 minutes because they felt it would make him appear more sinister and evil.

Midgar is 10% of the original game roughly.
