I believe you miss a bunch of cut scenes that explain the story and they try to mix them in to text but you miss the actual scenes that show facial expressions and give the characters some more life. I bought it and it scratched the itch of an old school RPG with turn based combat I have had for a long time. It's got a LOT of content too. If you're happy with the job you're at now and it can provide for whatever you need (wife works or wife doesn't work, kids, more kids in the future etc) you can't beat not hating the job you have to do every day. Trust me, when you wake up every day and say "FUCK I have to go in to work today" it drains you. We don't always need to chase the dollar at expense of happiness.
