Conflating enjoying loud music and loud cars with Hispanic culture is more of a racist stereotype that is admittedly done by some who are Hispanic themselves. It would be like rednecks saying big trucks with ugly decorations blasting loud country is white american culture (which fyi they actually do that too and are just as wrong). See, the thing is, my area was always latino. Yet, at some point it changed from a quiet neighborhood to a very loud and obnoxious one. When I was a child our neighbors across the street were a family where the mother didn't know english and they were a wonderful family. They never had loud parties at night or lowriders and all that. When they moved out, a new latino family moved in. They were fine until their kids hit their teens. Then they began just sitting in the driveway blasting bass, etc. About this time it seems the shift occurred and many neighbors started shooting fireworks at midnight on Christmas and blaring loud parties occassionally until it just went downhill. A certain type of people starting moving in and that type is not described by a race or nationality. You can have a hispanic community that doesn't have loud noise all the time. |

In any case, most apartments have an agreement of noise on the lease correct? |

Oh, but you are such a nice neighbor! You let them hear your pick of music for free! Clap clap clap. Give you a medal sir. FUCK EM!!! That is what your attitude says. Your music is more important than any of this. If they couldn't sleep due their baby. Fuck em. I mean, you want to hear music, you can, in your own space. Why you need theirs too? Selfish. |

See, the issue isn't who is blasting the music or what type of music, the issue is when you are relaxing in your own house and watching netflix and your stupid idiot neighbor's music is louder than the tv in front of you, they should get in trouble. Maybe these guys do it far away in a park and no one but people at the park hear them. Maybe. I would say that is unlikely. If you enjoy making ridiculous noise at a park faraway, what is to stop you from doing it when you drive home? Temptation is too high. Years ago I wouldn't have had this opinion or cared but trust me, once you live by a dude whose whole life and pride is his loud vehicle, you will see. |

The issue is regular residents are too afraid to call the police about the noise so the scumbag driving his modified vehicle around at night with ungodly bass noise gets away with it. Rinse and repeat till you drive the sane people out of the neighborhood. Noise hellholes are a shame and should be destroyed. You like cars and a certain type of music? Nice, keep in mind your neighbors aren't clones of you. Keep in mind sometimes people need to go to bed early or concentrate when they work. But from my experience the type of person to participate in these do not care about how they harm other people. Also, before someone claims this is racist, trashy redneck dudes have a similar thing with giant pickup trucks they modify. It is less about race and more about a selfish subsection of hateful people that are drawn to driving around blasting music like they lost their minds. So, even if this park is far away, does the car turn off the noise blasters when they arrive home? No. My old neighbor didn't and he even bought a police scanner. He was likely a drug dealer. But when I called the cops, I actually got peace eventually. He would usually wait an hour then storm off. |
