Have you played games on mobile? This game has the best controls of any mobile game I've played. I think part of it is just getting used to mobile controls in general. It could just be because I'm used to mobile controls being terrible lol... but the first time I tried this on mobile I was surprised at how smooth and responsive the controls were.

If you have a reasonably big screen relative to your thumb size, I don't think the mobile controls are bad at all. Don't get me wrong, the controls are obviously better on console or PC. I would not recommend doing any relatively difficult content on mobile (unless you want to challenge yourself lol). But it's perfectly fine for basic stuff like farming materials or doing your dailies.

I've used up all my condensed resin. I plan on using up my regular resin just before the update. I don't want to have to worry about resin for at least 24 hours.

If I do somehow find I really want resin on the first day, I've got over 30 fragile resin stored up.

Buying individual stocks is not a good idea unless you have at least thousands of dollars up front so you can diversify your portfolio.

But investing in an index fund or a good mutual fund is great even with a small amount per month.

That makes no sense. Just because they are on the crosswalk doesn't mean it's not an accident. The only way it made sense to me is if you thought people were using the word "accident" to imply that the officer did nothing wrong.

I've almost got hit many times because the people turning right at the light pull all the way into the middle of the crosswalk, and block the entire curb

Just because it's an accident doesn't mean he didn't do anything wrong. Obviously he should have been paying attention, and I think that cars should be required by law to stop and let pedestrians cross at crosswalks. The law in America doesn't always agree with me on this, though. Illinois in particular tends to side with the driver in cases like this. It sucks but that's how it is.

I don't think his being a cop had anything to do with this... it was clearly a traffic accident.

I do think that manslaughter charges are justified, but under any circumstances America is really bad at punishing drivers who hit pedestrians. So I wouldn't hold my breath on a good outcome.

This rarely happens when people call it in advance.

Most of the time (SHOCKER) the upgrades wind up randomly distributed over both good and bad stats.

We make our entertainment more colorful and exciting than real life because it's something we do for fun. If real life were more like games and anime then our games and anime would be even more colorful and exciting to make up for it. And you would still be here making this topic.

Only roll weapon banner if you can use most/every weapon on it. The upcoming one looks fairly decent if you don't already have a skyward spine.

This, although I would amend it to say only roll the weapon banner if you want BOTH of the 5 star weapons on it. If you go in feeling that you'll be happy no matter what the pity gives you, you'll be fine. If you're hoping that RNG gives you one and not the other, then you're just asking for trouble.

On an unrelated note, I can't believe it took me this long to realize how good Diona is against Lupus Boreas. I always just thought "using cryo characters against him = bad" and didn't consider using her. Then it occurred to me that her shields should be really effective on his cryo attacks... and holy shit, they sure were.

Diona, Bennett, and Xiangling are basically super easy mode. Between the shields and the healing you are pretty much invincible, and you're getting constant melt reactions as you fight.

Frankly I feel kind of dumb for not noticing sooner.

Two of the three bosses dropped some sweet glads. Both have CR and damage. One has att% and the other has ER. I'm kind of scared to build them up cause they don't have the 4th stat yet and I just know it's all gonna go into whatever flat stat it is.

Edit: i also have no one who uses glad at the moment either.

Glad is good to keep as backup. A lot of times if you have trouble putting together a good 4 piece attack set, you can combine the best two of them with two good glad pieces. Most likely it will be almost as good as four good artifacts from the "best" set, and a lot better than 2 good + 2 mediocre from that set.

This works out well for me. Sayu sounds nice for QoL reasons and I could use extra Pyro DPS more than cryo DPS. So if I pull a 5* while going for her, either I'll get Yoimiya or a guaranteed Baal pull when her banner comes.

Nah, 10+ million mora and close to 800 Hero wits and I already have artifacts for everyone I use even Kazuha because my Venti used EM. All of that is junk to me. Probably useful to new players though.

It's useful for nearly everyone, because nearly everyone wants to make all their characters as strong as they can, not just the ones they use the most. If you ever do decide to upgrade a few new characters to level 80 with high level artifacts, talents, and weaponry, that will go FAST.

In any case, whatever you're doing to upgrade friendship, the Sereniteapot is probably lower effort than that. Just put the 8 characters you use least anywhere, and check in every two days to talk to the tea spirit and click on a heart icon. It's even on the same screen as the realm coins, so you can collect both at the same time.

Literally 2 or 3 minutes to set up, and then 1 minute every two days.

It's a case by case thing based on how big, what the proportions are, and whether or not she has an attractive face.

The woman in the TC's post has kind of a plain face and doesn't look like she's curvy in the right places... so probably not.

The woman in post #10, on the other hand, is a big fat YES based on what we see.

Billy Goat Tavern is far from great. It's a perfectly fine local dive but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it. Most local Chicago fast food places have burgers that are just as good, and you can get fries with them.

But shes a rather obvious whale character. You either dont roll on her, get her to C2, or get her to C6. Her C6 is straight-up cheat mode.

Yeah but if you have the Childe/Fischl/Beidou combo, with all of them at C6 with good 5* weapons, how would they do? You wouldn't have that big damage explosion at the end but you'd have so many high damage attacks coming so fast, I could easily see it having higher overall DPS.

Anyway my point isn't to say her DPS isn't great, just that she doesn't break the meta as much as people seem to think. She doesn't make all the old 5* characters look weak and useless by comparison.
