Mega energy earned is proportional to distance walked, it only just pays out when the candy does. So all buddies youve mega evolved a family member of, you get the same mega energy, just given at different points.

Also given out in tasks.

There's also free, hidden Beedrill Mega Energy as a chance item from spinning gyms. It doesn't show up at all on screen, but if you check your Beedrill you'll probably have a lot more energy than you thought you would.

It's the full reset each time too. Person A keeps a secret and Person B finds out and is upset. Then an episode later B does the same thing and cannot for the life of them understand why A is upset at them for keeping a secret.

It's the CW formula. Basically forced melodrama to pad out episodes and seasons in order to save the budget for a few scenes. I gave up on Supernatural around series 8 for the same reason.

The Sun (along with all other NewsMedia ran publications, but The Sun is the most influential due to its massive sales numbers and simplistic language) - which is pretty much exclusively read by the sort of people the Tories think are scum and that Labour always appealed to - publicly swapped from backing Labour to backing the Tories in 2010, and that was pretty much game over for Labour.

But also, one of the first things the Tories did when they got into power under Cameron was to restructure parts of the BBC and put Tory allies in charge.

It's obviously not been the same since. Very insidious stuff.

Nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be tbh. It had the best gameplay of all the ME games, the story and characters are fine, albeit not great.

Biggest criticism is definitely how empty Andromeda feels. It should have been more about finding new stuff and species, but they leant heavily on the established stuff.

Millions of people have no problem posting on Reddit despite the upvote yet it's only a few guys who seem to have a problem with it.

I generally have no issues with it, but it can be an absolute pain when you're trying to ask for specific help on specific subreddits. There's often lots of competitive downvoting of other new posts, and you always get trolls who just download everything that isn't the exact thing they came looking for.

It's not as bad for smaller communities, but if you go to bugger ones it can be a nightmare. Also doesn't help if you're not in a North American timezone.

I have recently subbed to Shudder through Amazon Prime so have watched a few horrors.

Slaxx - it was OK. Not nearly as funny as I had hoped based on the trailer.

The Witch in the Window - had good reviews, but felt like it was just a bit boring. Very slow, not very scary, not entertaining.

Vivarium - Really good. Love stuff like this where people are stuck in some kind of loop and it was done really well.

The Dark and the Wicked - really really enjoyed this. Actually quite scary.

I'm sure I read something about the rocket guy that implied he wasn't really a flat earther, he was just milking them for money to fund his rocket dreams.

Similar, albeit not nearly as heinous, as the doctor who is the figurehead of the antivaxx movement, who claimed the MMR jab causes autism. He only did so in order to try and get his own version of the jab into common usage. But now he just milks the antivaxx idiots for whatever he can.

Like one guy is completely invincible, but a consequence of that is that he can't feel any physical sensations. So he's just fat as fuck because food is the only pleasure he gets in life.

Also the premise of One Punch Man. Basic office worker decides to become a hero, trains so hard he can defeat anything in one punch, but finds that he's now incredibly bored of it all.

I mean, he's definitely still good, but his boredom has an impact if his overall motivation and priorities.

The joke is that Michael is an idiot and has these women as interchangeable but....the show itself did the same by giving them no kind of characterization. Had they did that, shown them interacting with other characters to build them up then I'm not sure the actress would have had an issue. At least if I am reading her correctly.

I dont think they made a big enough of a deal about Michael being really offensive. It was mostly just eyerolled as Michael being Michael.

It's a similar problem I have with the second Lethal Weapon episode of IASIP. The first one has an ongoing commentary about racism, appropriation and blackface, but the second one just has Dee appear in blackface with little to no comment on how offensive it is, even though we obviously know she's being offensive whilst doing it.

Great song that injected fun and humor into arguably the bleakest part of the pandemic. I wouldn't exactly call it a "feminist icon," though - just entertaining.

I honestly can't say, as I've genuinely not heard it, but if it's self aware, then it's got to be somewhat of a commentary on the double standards of the songs content.

If not, I feel like it's become iconic after the fact as, even in this topic, it showcases the double standards and hypocrisy of what people are fine with in pop music and hip hop. How many ultra graphic songs have charted from the males perspective where no one batted an eyelid?

The whole prequel trilogy is a mess IMO. It's Lucas untethered and that's not a good thing. There are some interesting ideas and characters, but just executed so poorly and it completely failed to evoke any of the charm and wonder that the OT had.

Phantom Menace is by far the worst of the 3 though.

For a start, it's basically just one long toy advert. It is also completely superfluous to the actual plot if the trilogy. And the way it handles the non-filler stuff actually negatively impacts a lot of future stuff too, particularly around Anakin; The romance seems weird as a result of them meeting when he was a literal child and the edgy rebellious Anakin that was easily manipulated by Palpatine would have made much more sense if they had discovered Anakin when he was older and he was far less experienced as a Jedi going into episodes 2 and 3.

Got a complete set of the OG Team Rocket cards in a binder, with several duplicates.

Obvious highlight is the Dark Charizard holo, and I presume the Dark Dragonite holo and the 83/82 Dark Raichu holo.

No idea about the quality of the card, but it's prrtty much pristine by my own standards.
