But Rian Johnson is an actual filmmaker who was handed the most boring pile of crap ever in TFA and told to write a sequel to it, and he at least put in an effort even if it came up short. As the middle part of a sequel, obviously a lot of time was going to be spent on Kylo and Rey's character development since they're the two main characters of the sequel trilogy. "Removing everything the last boring movie attempts to entertain the audience with will surely make a good movie!" FOH TFA had ideas. Dumb ideas i guess. Unelaborated on ideas. His mystery boxes. Its how jj works. Tearing all that shit down on a two hour waste of fucking time?
