Jaded_Dragon 05/13/21 1:09:21 PM #67	I want to say The Legend of Dragoon, as the timing based button presses for attacks is a fun way to keep you involved in what is going on in the game, but I'm also hesitant to mention it because I feel like every boss fight kinda plays out the same. They're damage sponges, so even your best attacks barely hurt them, they hit like trains, and it ultimately comes down to if you have enough healing potions in your very limited inventory. Other than that, I thought Dragon Quest XI was quite good. Status changing magic actually serves a purpose and simply wailing on your enemies will often lead to a game over. --- The next human enlightenment is the abolishment of money.

I think going through 2 PS2's within the first 2 years due to the dreaded 'disc read error' issue put a bad taste in my mouth (the 3rd is still kicking tho!), which was further compounded by the RROD issues with the 360.... I went through 2 of those as well. I wasn't excited for PS3 really at all, as I felt that the PS2 had more to give, devs were really just figuring out how to get the most out of the system before the push to PS3. I also didn't really care about any of the exclusives other than MGS4. I ended up not getting a PS3 until about 2010, and I didn't get a PS4 until 2015. I have no plans to get the PS5 anytime soon. --- The next human enlightenment is the abolishment of money.

Jaded_Dragon 04/28/21 10:30:31 AM #7	With my company we do it so in case anyone has to leave early or has to miss a day for whatever reason the manager is aware of what's going on and if they need to step in and help, they can. For us at least its not about keeping tabs on people, but keeping tabs on projects and everyone being aware of what's going on. We're a relatively small company and if someone has to be out for an extended period of time, it can really throw a wrench into things, so it's best that everyone stay on the same page. That doesn't sound like your situation though and I can understand why it would be annoying lol. --- The next human enlightenment is the abolishment of money.

Jaded_Dragon 04/26/21 11:18:27 AM #26	Ah man, I have 2 slipped discs in my back, L4 & L5. On a good day the pain stays between my lower back and my hip. On a bad day it runs down my legs to my knees. I have one disc going left and one going right, so I get pain on both sides. Good times. I'm on daily low dose pain meds, I take THC/CBD at night, and I get injections in my back every 6 weeks or so. The shots help for about 4 weeks on average. The initial injury happened about 9 years ago and it's just getting worse and worse with each passing year. I'm probably going to be looking at surgery within the next 2 years or so. Yay me! --- The next human enlightenment is the abolishment of money.

I should have gotten a more comfortable one but mask comfort wasn't on my radar as I've only had to wear one for a couple hours max before, and it just didn't cross my mind at all.
