Nothing, which is why I know that crypto has next to nothing to do with the prices or shortages. What does have to do with the prices is this little thing called a chip shortage. GPUs haven't been the most efficient way to mine in a long ass time. The problem will persist and continue when crypto is up, when crypto is down, and everything in between until the new factories are built next year and the companies are caught up on back orders.

cpus can be as well, if you do truly want a new pc prebuilts right now are a better option. You're still going to overpay 20-30% but you'll get a 1-3 year warranty depending on where you buy it from.

for the factual story, it moved about 1.5% and was normal day to day fluctuations. But coke has a fuck ton of money and why the headlines all used the raw number instead of the percent because 4 billion sounds like a lot, then you see their shares are worth 240 odd billion. if you're working fulltime at the mininum wage for an entire year (which is pretty difficult to actually manage since less than 1 million people a year do since most places will give you a small raise after 6-9 months once you proved you aren't going to leave immediately), you would pay about $400-700 in federal taxes as a single with no deductibles.

FICA will hit harder and local state income tax (if you're in a state with one) will hit you harder.

not to say most fast food workers, retail workers, and other low wage jobs aren't paid less then they should be. Just that's one of the shittiest reasonings to argue for increased wages.

when i listed the heat you deal with, that should have been the first clue that i've worked it. Since people who don't work fast food don't think about it because on their side of the counter it's nice and air conditioned.
