They can when the company hired to count the votes is called "Cyber Ninjas" and their CEO literally believes Trump has at least 200,000 more votes in Arizona than were counted. Not to mention they refuse to explain their counting methods or why they're shining UV lights on every ballot.

A Senate Republican news release said the firm was hired after months of interviewing various forensic auditors. It did not disclose how Cyber Ninjas was identified or chosen. The firm has not cited previous work involving elections and is not federally accredited by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission to test voting systems.

The companys website features images of a man dressed in a black ski mask and black gloves with a samurai sword in hand, and the words, Do you have a Cyber Ninja on your side?
After the firms selection, Arizona news organizations reported that the companys chief executive, Doug Logan, posted now-deleted tweets endorsing theories that the November vote was marred by fraud.

In December, for instance,the Associated Press reported that he retweeted a user who asserted that after auditing the states ballots, you may discover Trump got 200k more votes than previously reported in Arizona.

Logan who started Cyber Ninjas in 2014, according to Florida corporate records has said in a statement that his company is hired by major companies and organizations to determine possible ways their systems could be infiltrated and compromised, and then help them figure out how to seal those holes.

This is from a satire source, right? It seems a bit too over the top.

This is why I've been so anal about comments like "Trump's never gonna get in power again, he's out of power, he's finished, stop giving him attention". On top of him courting the GOP for another presidential bid and his base remaining as established as ever, you can see shit like this happening within the Republican party itself.

Trump has poisoned the party so thoroughly, and his influence has moved it so far to the right, that people like Mitt Romney are getting fucking booed by the party. Hell, dudes like Romney are seen as moderates, branded as RINOs and rejected by the wider party for having the basic human decency not to fall in line with this insanity.

This is exactly why we need to keep a focus on Trump and the Republican party. If we get complacent and go "he's a washed up reality TV star who got impeached twice, there's no way he'll get elected again", the next election will be 2016 all over again. And my fear is that even if Trump was permanently out of the running, there would be a Trump analogue who's just as extreme, just as disingenuous, just as malicious and arguably more competent to take his place, because that's what the GOP wants right now.

If she goes the distance, Marjorie Greene-Taylor could be the next Trump. And that's when the seeds that Trump sowed will be reaped. It's a fucked up compromise, but I think the only way to ride this out is to maintain a Democratic government until Trump dies, the extremists are voted out of the GOP or the Republican party otherwise calms the fuck down. The alternative is a harsher swing into right wing extremism.

Whether you agree with what I have to say is up to you, but I think it's a valuable skill to ask why somebody's pushing the rhetoric they are. Why is this user asserting that Trump has no power, and that talking about him is a fruitless endeavour? Is it a well-intentioned opinion born from naivety, or is it something they're asserting for a reason? And are they saying it casually, or are they using it to shut down a conversation at hand? And moreover - who benefits the most from that assertion becoming commonplace?

There's this guy named Stephen Miller. He's been appearing on Fox News a LOT lately. He has been echoing many of Trump's ideas. I could see him stepping in if Trump doesn't run in 2024.
