Judging solely off of the retail companies I've worked for... Whether the company is large or small, how much you enjoy... or maybe tolerate... your job depends on the store you work at. Co-workers, managers, etc. can make the job tolerable or terrible.

what if most of your coworkers are nice? then you'd def. prefer more people?

Smaller companies tend to try to run too lean in some departments. So if you're responsible for critical infrastructure, everything in that regard tends to fall on your shoulders alone. That gets pretty stressful sometimes, especially when said small company grows and still doesn't want to staff up.

With large companies, they may still run lean, but they often have enough staff to give you some support so you aren't doing everything by yourself.

I could see other kinds of jobs being more tolerable with a smaller company, though.

what do you think of, like a retail store environment? which would you prefer then?

Some guy here said he only counts final round interviews, my rate would certainly jump up if I did that. It's common for me to have a few rounds of phone interviews first and I don't think it's unusual to get eliminated on one of those, but to me it counts

I bought my watch online. A $300 watch that I bought using a gift card provided by my employer. It's a very nice watch, though I do need to replace the strap.

I have many times. I've only gotten one watch I've seen in person first, actually. Lol.

oh you're a watch guy too, i see. But it's getting harder and harder now to see watches in person. Cause a whole lot of people just look at it in store then buy it online kinda like electronics

was that in vegas? yeah i'd be interested in doing that. It looks kinda slow though, how fast you fall. Probably not as intense as skydiving
