He was making fun of a little girl who wrote a letter to Covid, telling it to stop being mean and killing people. Then she threw the letter out to the wind.

He expected me to laugh at her, instead my response was "Isn't that littering?"

And then I said something like "Well I guess it isn't really different to praying when you think about It. Positive thoughts."

He went deadly silent, gave me the evil eye and was angry all morning.

Turned out he was a Christian, which I didn't know, and I deeply offended him. Didnt help that it is a Sunday

Wrong.

This adds to the game's challenge without being unfair. Basically the map is like a Mario overworld, and you have to get to a checkpoint before you can save. And the actual levels are VERY difficult. So it's a major accomplishment every time you reach one of these checkpoints.

Marco Ramirez, a Tempe resident and father, was out running some errands on the evening of January 2 when he learned that his two rescue dogs had been shot multiple times by a neighbor. Both would eventually be pronounced dead at a veterinary hospital.

The neighbor was Dennis Goodwin, who Ramirez had never met, according to a Tempe Police Department report obtained through a public records request. He told police officers that he shot the dogs out of "fear of his safety."

But he did so with a .44 magnum revolver and unloaded over six shots into the two dogs, an indication that he had to stop to re-load when he killed the animals. A responding officer wrote in the report that Goodwin committed disorderly conduct, animal cruelty, and reckless display or discharge of a firearm.

"I was in shock," Ramirez said. "I could not believe somebody would shoot dogs."

Attempts to reach Goodwin were unsuccessful. He was not arrested or charged at the time of the incident, but the Tempe Police Department continues to investigate the case, according to Detective Natalie Barela, a department spokesperson.

As Ramirez tells it, he had let his two dogs one was a pit bull-Labrador mix named "Jax" and the other dog, "Loba," was a German shepherd-boxer mix out into his backyard before he left to get groceries. The yard is enclosed by concrete walls and an iron gate with wood boards. But neighbors were still lighting off fireworks, even though New Year's Eve had come and gone.

"It was Saturday. There were still a lot of fireworks," he said. "They got so scared. They tore through the wood."

This wasn't the first time they had been scared by fireworks, he said. As Jax got older, the dog would "nestle under anything" out of fear, according to Ramirez.

The police report doesn't substantiate this claim or provide much insight into what set the dogs off in the first place. But one witness, Mike Trujillo, told police that he had seen the dogs running around the neighborhood on previous days and that he had "never known the dogs to be aggressive." Ramirez also told police officers that the dogs would "typically power their way out of the yard through the wooden gate into the alley."

Other witness accounts appear to corroborate what happened before Goodwin unloaded on the dogs. Two neighbors, "Robert" and "Leticia," were inside their home when they learned that the dogs were attacking a cat next door. They headed outside and "observed the dogs killing a cat in [Goodwin's] front yard." They told Goodwin that the dogs had just killed a cat, then got on their bikes and followed the dogs as they kept running through the neighborhood. Goodwin followed them. Eventually, they turned back, only to see the dogs approach Goodwin's home again just as he was arriving home. Robert said that he saw the dogs "advancing" toward Goodwin and that they "lunged" at him, prompting Goodwin to fire two shots at the dogs. One dog ran off.

Another witness, Jessena Bishop, Trujillo's daughter, had reportedly "seen a cat attacked by dogs and was worried about a man walking around with a gun." When Trujillo arrived on the scene, he witnessed Goodwin "walking down the street with a family in front of him" while holding a "silver 'revolver' style pistol" that appeared to be a ".357 magnum." When Trujillo and Jessena got home, they saw one of the dogs bleeding on their patio, prompting them to call 911.

Goodwin's wife, Mary Beth Goodwin, told police that she and her husband were inside their home when their neighbors knocked on the door and told them that two dogs were "on the loose" and had just killed a cat outside their house. The cat was a stray that Dennis would feed.

Mary Beth and Dennis walked outside and saw the dogs approaching the cat. But she wasn't able to tell officers if the "cat had already been attacked" or if she saw the dogs "approach and then attack" the cat. Dennis scared the dogs off, walked back into his home, and grabbed his gun because he was "upset" that the dogs had attacked the cat, the report said. He searched for the dogs before returning home where Mary Beth was waiting with her grandchild. But the dogs came back and approached Dennis while "growling," she said. Dennis tried to wave them off, but one of the dogs "continued to aggressively approach him."

Then, when the dog was within "arm's reach" of Dennis, Mary Beth shouted, "shoot the dog, shoot the dog!" She said that Dennis shot the nearest dog "once" before the other dog came at him "in an aggressive manner" and he shot it too, the report says.

Veterinary staff told police that Jax was shot twice in an "arm" (foreleg), once in the chest, once in the pelvis, and once near its rear legs. Loba, was hit once in the neck, once in the "lower body," and once in a foreleg.

Police seized a silver .44 Magnum pistol and 12 bullet casings from the scene.

Ramirez said that Goodwin's decisions to roam the neighborhood with a large revolver and empty multiple rounds into the dogs was "excessive."

"Theres kids around his neighborhood," he said. "Does he carry a gun 24/7 like the Wild West?"

Albuquerque Fire Rescue made an amazing rescue Sunday in Bear Canyon, just off Michael Emery trail.

For nearly three hours, AFR worked to rescue Jax, after he ran off during a hike with his human. Because of the snow and slippery conditions, he fell between two boulders.

After Jax fell, his owner knew it was impossible to rescue him on her own, so she called 911; which they re-directed to AFR.

In an interview with KOAT, Jax didnt have much to say but were sure hes pretty thankful for all of those hard-working humans at AFR.

Its route took me down a side road and said drive to the end of the road , then turn right. Problem was that it had bollards blocking the way.

I reported that to the Sat Mav where it went "Okay then! Driving down the road and turning right is blocked right? hmmm... ok! Here's what you do:

You go to sleep tonight and when you wake up you feel a weird sensation of seeing a string blurry visions and segments of noises as if you are constantly waking up but only for a moment before passing out again for days at a time.

Eventually these periods grow longer until they are solid enough that you can actually look around freely for a brief moment and see that this is not your home. There is a strange unfamilar landscape out the window as well as unfamilar sounds. Your body feels weird and not right, then you look at the news and see the headline that Angry Joe just passed away, aged 103. You stumble back a moment in puzzlement until you glance at your reflection in a window only to see a confused Brazilian-American female staring back at you. Then it hits you.

It turns out you died many years ago but your organs were used for donor purposes. There was a breakthrough involving treatments for brain diseases/tumors where they used parts of donor brains and stem cells to repair the damage.

When this lady developed brain damage they reanimated large parts of your brain that were put on ice and used it to replace the damaged brain tissue in hers as you were a perfect donor match.

Except something occured that has never happened before. While the procedure was successful, somehow your thoughts, memories and personality survived, at least from Feb 18th 2021 and now slowly are uncontrollably taking over this girl's brain.

It's happening gradually, Incrementally at first but you are aware that a full takeover is inevitable as you become more powerful. This is a natural process, not something you have any input or control over. Throughout the years you've unwittingly taken possession of her mind in increasing amounts, sooner or later you will be permanent and she willl just be a small dying voice in your unconcious mind. A mind that was once hers. Effectively killing her.

You have no idea who she is or where you are. You can't access any of her memories, nor she yours. When you take over it's like she blacked out and vice versa.



Everyone you know and love is probably dead and what knowledge you have is decades out of date.

During World War 1 The Ottoman Empire got it's ass kicked by Russia in a failed invasion. They totally didn't plan for the Russian cold weather. Over 25,000 soldiers froze to death before the fight began, many more were incapacitated. Even on good ground with troops in acceptable conditions, Russians were just so far superior at winter warfare that the fighting was always one-sided.

Part of the Russian forces were "volunteer" Armenian soldiers who joined with the Russians despite not being under their commad in the hope of ultimately regaining territory for themselves under the Russian's back

After a little under a month of brutal fighting where Russia just spanked the Ottoman's over and over again in embarrasing fashion, the Ottoman's were humiliated and looked for a scapegoat.

Enver Pasha (who commanded the entire military failure) blamed the Armenian resistance and said all the failure in the field was them ruining the Ottoman's brilliant plans. (Aka, the same thing the Nazis did with the Jews after WW1)

In retaliation over 1.2 million Armenians were killed in exetremely brutal yet casual ways. They were forced to march through the desert (Civilians, not soldiers, Including women, children and the elderly) largely without food or water and as they dropped like flies from disease and starvation, the ones who survived were just killed.

Over 200,000 young attractive Armenian women were taken by Ottoman Muslim households as sex slaves

To this day Turkey denies this ever occured (even though it undeniably did) because they are douchebags.
