It might also be because it was my first Souls game, but how do you separate out nostalgia in your assessment of these things? I mean, no one would ever try to claim that the Penetrator is more mechanically developed or challenging than Ornstein, but I still prefer the Demon's version of the "boss that runs you through and chucks you to the side". May not just be nostalgia cuz I didn't play DeS until the remake and it's still tied for my favorite with DaS1. --- |
