What I never really understood are the people who like really hard single player games like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, etc for the difficulty but hate competitive multiplayer.

what i don't get is why so many people think the black separation crystal will work on an invader.

think about it. do you really think they'd make it that easy?

This still sounds very angry.

no, it is obvious that you are the angry one. it's why you're so insistent on passive aggression. god man relax. if you're such a safe driver my criticisms aren't for you then anyway, right? fuck brake-checkers, you with me? yeah?

The problem is there are literally people (you did it as well) advocating for people to pull over for them when that one, isn't always an option, and two shouldn't be rewarded. It isn't about competition.

i see you also read that post i responded to already. good. i'm assuming you'll go back and read my response to it. the tl;dr: in case you don't is that you can let these people go on their merry way, don't use your car to prove a point, you using your car to punish people is a fucked up thing to do, so don't do that -- you know, the points you continue to gloss over while attempting an insipid u mad.

If you constantly pull over for people who speed and drive recklessly they will continue to do it.

please don't use your car to teach other people lessons, holy shit.

This isn't me advocating for break checking nor saying that is the appropriate action.

no, it absolutely is. saying 'here are some good reasons to use your car to prove a point -- not that i think you should!' is pretty comical in terms of like, bad two-facedness.

also, i never said that it was 'about competition.' i said it brought out a tiny and competitive little person in a lot of people. another adjective that i want to toss out there is 'threatened.' people are anxious and hostile on the road. it's not just you; people will do very stupid and petty things when they feel road-insulted.

but i'm not really getting anywhere with you so don't worry about it.

i think you're missing the simple point, that driving the speed limit is perfectly legal while tailgating can net you a ticket. break checking might not be the best option, but pulling over on the fucking highway isn't either.

newsflash. tailgating types don't care if you're going the speed limit, or even 5-10 over. you will meet ones that get on your ass eventually. or maybe this is the massachusetts road experience telling itself.

you can't control what they do. you can send them on their merry way or you can have some stress over it. brake-checking is a stupid and reckless thing to do.

highways tend to have these things called 'lanes', allowing for drivers to pass.

This post sounds angry and there is no reason for it.

nah. i think the posts implying that people need to re-take lessons are the ones that sound angry. if you don't like being called a reckless idiot (maybe this is where you infer anger?) don't brake-check. not to mention how you're all 'a bloo bloo bloo people on ce can't drive'. please don't try u mad here, you are obviously driving with a chip. sorry.

Why should I pull over and slow down when someone is driving recklessly behind me and thereby reward that negative behavior while slowing down and possibly becoming late to my own destination?

it isn't your place to punish people with your car. do you not understand that?
are you really leaving so late that pulling over for a few seconds will knock you off-time?

No one is defending tail-gating except, you know, jumping on break checking and getting annoyed at any post that attacks tail-gaters.

it's really more like people are saying 'people who brake-check are stupid and reckless' and people who - i don't know, might brake-check - are coming in and saying 'what do you tailgate??? why are you defending tailgating??'

i feel like the road brings out the tiny, competitive man in many. oh, no, someone did something you disagreed with, better lose your shit.

Yup. So many people here saying "Tail gating can be unintentional but break checking is intentional." if you can't help tail gating please do everyone a favor and re-take driving lessons.

well nobody said you had to compete with reckless idiots in being the most reckless idiot. you can pull over and let these people harmlessly go.

nobody at any point ever defended tailgating and being against brake-checking doesn't mean you ride people's asses all the time, either. it just means you maybe own some common sense and don't treat your car like a weapon and a toy.
