Theyre really fucking strong tbh.

The new place does custom match paint orders. So touch up bottles, aerosol cans, etc.

you can smell it from outside the building, hit me immediately after leaving my car

I guess it doesnt hurt to apply with my current lender as well.

especially if theyll make things easier for having history with them.

Generally, you can switch jobs while refinancing or getting a mortgage as long as it's in the same industry.

Id being going from 7 years in security, to zero experience in production/manufacturing

were trying a new lender, to make sure we get the break in payment. Im not sure if they still skip one if you refi with current lender.

Been at my current job for 7 years, so plenty of experience/history here

The new pay is negated by the commute. Once you count in the upkeep and maintenance (tires, oil, gas mainly) n such for a vehicle

For the cash out refinance, the usually only allow 75-80% of the home value to be loaned out. Also if you have PMI or whatever, that drops out of the monthly payment on top of the new rate

Unless the job is a stepping stone to something else, I'd just refinance

yeah, were hopefully dropping that PMI. Thats where the $75 would come from.

I guess appraisals are getting skipped sometimes, because banks know everything is worth more than actual value right now

So if your new job is on a different schedule can you do both for a few weeks?

Cant you just get the refinancing approved and then quit your job when it's all signed and done?

Theyre on the same shift, I just meant pay schedule.

but yeah ideally Id quit this job after closing on the refi.

I want to refinance our house to take advantage of these low rates. First guy I called said he could me 2.85%, compared to 4.25% I have now. That would save me $75 per month, but more importantly, it would give me a break to catch up on funds. Thats $800, if I dont have to pay mortgage for August.

I got offered a new job last week, and dont want said job to mess up my refinance. They want consistent work history at your current employer.

Job pays $1 more per hour, heavy paint fumes, possibility to get promoted, commute will increase 6x(5 mins to 30 mins).

However, July is a 3 paycheck month at my current employer, and I cant afford to miss that extra check.

If new job is on opposite schedule, I couldnt start until 7/26 essentially.

in a perfect world, Ill be able to get the extra check and refinance. But I dont know if timeline will allow. Thoughts?

some of those titles may be part of stay at home or whatever, and dont follow the monthly schedule.

but their monthly games need to be added to library, during the specific month. Youre right about not needing to download right away.

Just a heads up, you might not want to buy Persona 5. If you sign up for PS+, youll get it for free.

PS+ is an online service that lets you play games online, and it also comes with 2-3 free games each month. For PS5 owners, they also threw in a ton of PS4 gems. Persona 5 is one of them.

Here are those PS4 games:

* Bloodborne
* Days Gone
* Detroit: Become Human
* God of War
* Infamous Second Son
* Ratchet and Clank
* The Last Guardian
* The Last of Us Remastered
* Until Dawn
* Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End
* Batman: Arkham Knight
* Battlefield 1
* Call of Duty: Black Ops III Zombies Chronicles Edition
* Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
* Fallout 4
* Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition
* Monster Hunter: World
* Mortal Kombat X
* Persona 5
* Resident Evil 7 biohazard

this isnt exactly true.

you need to download those games the month they are free.

if you try to download March games in June, you wont be able to get them for free obviously

Def not worth $1 hr raise

Profit sharing is overblown

A family run paint company? Yeah, enjoy the culture of 0 safety.

I should have chosen my wording better. I don't think its actually a family owned company, just has that kind of vibe to it. During my interview, I was introduced to literally every employee from top to bottom.

They did mention that this would be a new position, due to increased demand. That could be taken either way.

Im not sure if she ever went to trial or not. She did come here once, and made it a point to make sure everyone saw her remove her mask before leaving the building.

Boredom is a good point, but it wont be something new. At my current job, there are days where Ill go hours without someone coming in. So Im just browsing Reddit most of the day.

The new job would at least keep me busy, and they dont mind if you wear headphones.

I guess theres a few different stations, and they try to switch you often, to help keep it fresh.

Car is good, but gas is $3.70 right now(premium). Right now, I only get gas every 2 weeks or so

but yeah many things open, just gotta find the right fit.

$15 after eight years sounds like the end of the road, unless you want to become a Sargent.
Not sure what kind of security duty it is though.

But yes, a short commute is a life goal.
It almost sounds like that will be the deciding factor.
Right now my car is RIP, but it hasn't really affected my work life...outside of pissing away money for cabs.
~If I worked 30 mins away, I'd be fucked.

Right now I do armed security, contracted to a municipal court.

Our company is currently in the process of being bought out, and will soon be the largest security company in the world.

Maybe our new overlords will try to encourage the employees that have been here for years, but Im not holding my breath

Pros
-Pays $16 to start, room for promotions/advancement($15 now)
-Profit sharing(never had that)
-Family type business, 10 employees

Cons
-30 minute commute, and I need premium gas(currently like 2 miles)
-Heavy paint fumes
-Brand new field for me, zero production experience

Im afraid to leave something I know how to do, and have been doing for 8 years, for something brand new. Im not sure Ill even be making more money right away, Ill probably lose at first just based on mileage.

I do security currently, and this is would be mainly filling aerosol paint cans, and get them ready to ship out.

help
