| lww99 06/16/21 11:01:58 AM #1 | I want to refinance our house to take advantage of these low rates. First guy I called said he could me 2.85%, compared to 4.25% I have now. That would save me $75 per month, but more importantly, it would give me a break to catch up on funds. Thats $800, if I dont have to pay mortgage for August. I got offered a new job last week, and dont want said job to mess up my refinance. They want consistent work history at your current employer. Job pays $1 more per hour, heavy paint fumes, possibility to get promoted, commute will increase 6x(5 mins to 30 mins). However, July is a 3 paycheck month at my current employer, and I cant afford to miss that extra check. If new job is on opposite schedule, I couldnt start until 7/26 essentially. in a perfect world, Ill be able to get the extra check and refinance. But I dont know if timeline will allow. Thoughts? --- |

Boredom is a good point, but it wont be something new. At my current job, there are days where Ill go hours without someone coming in. So Im just browsing Reddit most of the day. The new job would at least keep me busy, and they dont mind if you wear headphones. I guess theres a few different stations, and they try to switch you often, to help keep it fresh. Car is good, but gas is $3.70 right now(premium). Right now, I only get gas every 2 weeks or so but yeah many things open, just gotta find the right fit. --- |

Im not sure Ill even be making more money right away, Ill probably lose at first just based on mileage.
