To be fair, I don't know if it was at every post, but I was 18 in the active Army at Ft Dix and they let anyone in uniform buy beer at the PX, I was going through a case a week. I agree with your sentiment regardless, but they seemed pretty lax about it at least.

No one in the army cares. I don't think I've ever heard of a single instance of the UCMJ ever punishing anyone for improper possession of alcohol.

Brain death essentially equals dead. I totally understand people holding onto hope earlier, wishing things could be different, but as soon as he was medically declared brain dead and on life support I knew he had 0% chance of survival. There's always a chance that the diagnosis was wrong and he's not actually brain dead. I wouldn't bet on those odds though.

California recently passed a law that is a step in the right direction called the CCPA which is a type of law that returns authority over personal data to the person in question. If you tell someone to delete you, they have to do it, for example. You can also request to know everything a company knows about you and need explicit permission to sell your data.

Of course it only applies to California residents but if we get more of these laws it would be a good step towards giving people the power back over their own identities.

The video is pointless fear mongering. The infrastructure he is warning is about is already there. We have no fly lists. That isn't even private it's public and anyone can look at it. It's maintained entirely by the 100% private TSA. They haven't blocked people on account of vaccines yet but they have blocked people on account of no masks.

Having an easy way to provide proof of vaccinations that can be certified by a trusted authority is the opposite of restricting freedom. Businesses can already choose to refuse people who don't show proof of vaccinations. They haven't done so because that puts the burden of gathering the proof on the customer and the burden of authenticating the proof on the business which is functionally impossible. Instead having a passport shunts all that hard work onto a tech company working in conjunction with the medical center and we can just do the thing we are already allowed to do but in an easier way.

So if you're worried about where it might lead just know that you've already been led there and haven't noticed. Vaccine passports don't give anyone authority they don't already have.

I don't know why people are concerned about vaccine passports.

1. No one bats an eye at required ID to buy alcohol or cigarettes
2. No one cared that proof of registration for selective service is required to get Government benefits
3. No one cares about how you needed a 2 year credit history to get.... Well literally anything more than $500 that you can't pay cash for.
4. Requiring a vaccine proof to go to Disneyland though. That's where we draw the line.

Latest info from a supposedly credible source says that Inazuma will be after 1.6 or 1.7 and the first two banners will be Kazuha and Yoimiya (first time I've seen this name I think).

So assuming that's the case you're looking at 5 more months at minimum.

1.7 Inazuma is the most likely right now. 1.5 is Chasm and 1.6 is Ludi Harpastrum so there would need to be some pretty extreme filler content to clog up 1.7 without Inazuma.
