You have to shoot her in the face with Missiles when she goes to bite you and she will freeze and you can roll inside to plant bombs.

Great way to reduce the number of missiles it takes to beat the Queen.

Super Metroid

Id rather play the original.

Its shorter, easier to get Samus in the bikini, and the password system rocks. Oh yeah, and you can play the game in the zero suit in the original. The problem most people encounter is that its hard, tbh. These games are a lot like Souls in a lot of ways.

I thought part of the appeal behind Super Metroid was that it was more like the original, only they added a map so you dont have to memorize everything again. Its lot bigger too and knowledge of the original map will obviously benefit you because both games take place on Zebes.

Theyre two totally different beasts, honestly.

That is an escape route from the Metroid Queen.

Theres also a hidden world there. If you keep Select Glitching, eventually the ceiling disappears and you can enter a tunnel with some norfair platforms.

Ive tried to glitch under the egg, but the game just throws up more walls. So, that isnt the way clearly

Im really not familiar enough with ancient Hebrew texts to make a call one way or the other here. Off the top of my head, I want to assume that the forbidden fruit is meta, indicative of numerous possible interpretations. On the other hand, given how sin is treated, I am thinking the most likely usage of the apple was akin to teaching people that you cant live off tasty food alone, and are even potentially better off without it. Greed. Additionally, I wonder if the apple opens them up to Pride & covering their now-aging bodies, becoming ashamed of their humanity, and learning about the concept of basically what is chaotic good. Another possibility is related to the Tree of Life & this idea that by taking the fruit, the natural balance was upset in a multitude of ways. It would be interesting if the tree was supposed to never grow & never whither & never drop fruit.

I just beat Metroid 2 for the Gameboy. It actually, once you get past initial annoyances, is really fun. I also feel it hits it's tone perfectly. There were parts I felt pretty creeped out by.

The ending area with the gothic biomechanical architecture reminds me of Salt & Sanctuary :)

It isnt clear exactly where Padme began to reciprocate Anakins feelings, but it was precisely at the moments where he gave up on her that she started making moves on him. Notably, when Anakin displays his idea of justice, she decides she will have him. Thats what I saw. Do you agree?
