Im fine with people wanting to play casual matches, whatever that entails, but my only issue with it is that people should declare their intent. If you want a small or large arena, say so and make it known when people are looking to join. Such as: Arena code and pass Max 4 Items On It makes sure you get people who want to play the same gameplay style with less hassle, like people jumping in and leaving over ruleset. As someone who likes to play a lot more than watch, big arenas really annoy me. I want like 4 people at max, and having spectators isnt an issue so having an extra spot or two makes sense, but the rotation for the players should be quick.
