I mentioned it toward the beginning of the topic but IMO "Japanese the manga way" is a great beginning grammar guide. I think the author was Wayne Lammer or something like that.

The title makes it sound gimmicky but it was a great intro to give you grammar knowledge to start reading. It uses examples from real manga and not just "manga style illustrations" or something. It's all mostly old 80s manga though.

Just a question but do you guys have any recommend books to study for japanese when it comes to grammar/particles and kanji? Or everything that helped you guys in general?

Been studying it for the past 3 weeks with tackling katakana, hiragana and youon. Still feel kanji will bite me in the *** soon lmao. Hope its all working out and paying off for you guys

This happens to a lot of actors in a nutshell and yea its stupid since they have no control for it. Their just doing their jobs with the scripts given.

Examples:
-Like tlou2 with laura bailey doing role as abby for killing joel.
-VA getting death threats because of the direction darling in the franxx went.
-death threats on rose voice actor in tales of zestiria because alisha was replaced as heroine for rose.

And the list goes on.

Samurai shodown (if only netcode wasnt bad)

Blazblue cross tag battle even tho the game is very bummy

Honestly a lot of fighters this gen (aside from xrd and central fiction) really making me dislike the genre as its getting more and more dumbed down gameplay wise just to appeal casuals.

I do agree its scummy on launch games. I only buy it if i know im going to put like 100 hours of that game.
Fighting games is an example. Unless the season pass is really bad then ill just pick the dlc i want instead lol.

I actually agree with it.
Getting rid of fan made games, giving C&D's (sucks they shut down project m when they kept supporting it), half assed ports, don't even bother releasing games that havent gotten ported at all (path of radiance, f zero gx, etc.), ridiculous pricings, half assed joycons, and crappy online.

Geez its worse seeing certain fans defend their horrible decisions to the death..

I enjoyed V's gameplay, so meh. I can understand how its annoying when you start with an empty moveset with him tho. Also LMAOOO no @ the avoiding it. It was really fun and enjoyed dantes/nero gameplay a lot more in this one. Vergil was icing on the cake

Is that a good game?

Its a good game but its got flaws. If your looking for single player content for it and want to play it as a 1v1 game then nah best avoid it.

Pros:
-More diverse roster and least represents jump
-Characters ACTUALLY play different enough that they even got their own mechanics. No clone characters.
-Has a learning curve. Decent depth/combos in its gameplay and fun synergy with the assists.
-fun playing it with people u know you can do 2v2 with

Cons:
-no training mode
-balancing issues (altho every arena fighter got balance problems)
-needs more single player content
-story lacking but meh

j stars is meant to be a 2v2 based game so you really need a partner or someone good to have the most fun. Its not really meant to be a 1v1 game.

If not you can always play the english patch version of Jump ultimate stars if its not for you lol.

Games actually pretty fun. i actually love the cancels and combos you can do with the characters especially black widow. I do agree it got flaws tho but still good for what it is. Still sucks they havent released the other characters especially spiderman.

I'm with you when it comes to preferring the symphonia style of combat over these graces spin-off systems.

My personal favorite is xillia 2 by far because of all the artes and character styles you can play around with, but I also played the hell out of vesperia for the same reasons.

Im with you on xillia 2. So much fun playing the heck out of that game. Shame the story wasnt as strong as xillia 1 tho.

Cant blame you on it. Storys fine but gameplay for berseria is really underwhelming that your better off enjoying vesperias combat. (Which absolutely destroys berserias gameplay btw)

Learning the cancels, overlimits, learning curve, etc makes it so much fun.

Fun game in its time and Made me laugh hard seeing snoop dog in it. Really like the alternate endings if u mess up.

Worked in a very disorganized warehouse with a sitdown forklift. Basically have to load pallet of boxes inside a truck container. Problem was you have to drive around the entire warehouse to find the right store/pallet number it belongs to which was a pain in the ass to find. All of them wont be in the same location which you got to look around more for the rest of the pallets. Got pressured by my boss to hurry and im taking long. Even takes longerwith a propane tank forklift.

I got fed up getting yelled at especially doing my job right and quit. Cant stand being pressured to meet the goals from my boss, main manager and the truckdrivers that want to leave badly wanting you to get it done already. Helltruck drivers make it worse when the people working on the pallets are doing it at the last minute. Worse ofall is especially getting even more yelled at if you did a mistake.

the abridged series wont be finished til they get to the last episode of yugioh. its almost there too once the kaiba tournament filler is over and gets the Atems memory arc to the final duel
Surprised it took him long to make the next ep despite it being in 2020 lol.

I still enjoy the older abridged yugioh more than the modern ones sadly but their ok

its not worth it since the pacing drags forever in a bunch of arcs for the anime. Especially got plenty of fillers.... I'm pretty sure theres a summary for all of the arcs. (CP9 and Marineford Arc are awesome tho)
I know the movies covers alabasta quickly and choppers arc.
Not sure which Pirate warriors game covers em quick if your into wanting to play the games to understand it (I think part 4 misses skypiea arc)

Gravity Rush feels kinda mixed I suppose.
Either way I hope the third game happens but sadly the director of that series left sony. He himself said he wanted to make a 3rd one but in a next gen console. Hope it happens if the opportunity arises.
