| Everyonedies 02/03/21 10:05:22 AM #1 | Texas residents keeping their eyes peeled for a 3-foot-doll wielding a kitchen knife need not fret: infamous horror villain Chucky isn't actually on the loose. Chucky and his son Glen Ray were, however, featured in an AMBER Alert mistakenly issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety on Friday, according to local outlets. The rather unusual alert was sent out via email three separate times to subscribers of the Texas Alerts System, warning them that 5-year-old Glen Ray had been abducted, CBS affiliate KENS reported. Chucky was listed as the suspect in the alert, and was said to be 28 years old, 3' 1" and 16 pounds, with red or auburn hair and blue eyes. His race was listed as "Other: Doll," while his description said he was wearing blue denim overalls and wielding a kitchen knife. A spokesperson for the DPS told KENS that the alert was an accident following a test gone awry. "This alert is a result of a test malfunction," the spokesperson said. "We apologize for the confusion this may have caused and are diligently working to ensure this does not happen again." AMBER Alerts are typically issued as emergency messages after a child is abducted and believed to be in imminent danger. They originated in 1996 in Texas, and pay tribute to 9-year-old Amber Hagerman, who was kidnapped and killed while riding her bike in Arlington, Texas. Chucky, of course, has been giving audiences nightmares since he first appeared in the 1988 horror classic Child's Play as a notorious serial killer. The Chucky franchise has since released multiple sequels, including 2004's Seeds of Chucky, which first introduced his son Glen. https://people.com/human-interest/authorities-texas-mistakenly-issue-amber-alert-chucky-doll-son/ --- 32-13 |

| Everyonedies 01/29/21 1:57:36 PM #1 | 12-year-old, teens accused in beating of Arlington officer ordered to remain in custody Three young teens and a 12-year-old boy accused of beating and robbing an off-duty Arlington police officer were ordered on Thursday to remain in Tarrant County juvenile detention. The judge in the hearing read a report that after the Wednesday morning assault when the teens were driving away, the Arlington officer had pulled out his handgun and pointed it at their car, but he decided not to shoot. The teens drove away from the scene. The officer, who was treated at the scene, suffered minor facial and head injuries. District Judge Alex Kim ruled that the two 14-year-old boys, a 14-year-old girl who just had a birthday this week, and the 12-year-old would remain with Tarrant County juvenile authorities until their next detention hearing in 10 days. Generally, when it comes to crimes and guns, I will detain kids, Kim said as he spoke to the teens and 12-year-old during brief hearings Thursday. They appeared separately in 323rd District Court for virtual detention hearings, which were live-streamed over YouTube. The four face charges of delinquent conduct/aggravated robbery in the Wednesday morning attack on the Arlington police officer. They are not being identified because they are juveniles. After she was ordered detained, the 14-year-old girl said, I love you too, Mom, while appearing on a Zoom call. The teens were taken into custody at about 1 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop by police in Dallas, just hours after the assault and robbery of the officer in Arlington. In the hearings Thursday, Kim read reports where the children were accused of stealing a white four-door sedan at about 3 a.m. Wednesday and allegedly committing other robberies. No other injuries were reported in the robbery of the officer, which occurred just before 7:30 a.m. Wednesday outside a Quik Trip store at 900 E. Division St. in Arlington. The officer was in his own personal car when he stopped at the store after he got off work, which was about 7 a.m. Wednesday, Arlington police Lt. Christopher Cook said in a telephone interview with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The off-duty officer had stopped to get gasoline. The officers police uniform shirt was hanging in the rear passenger seat and his duty belt was inside the vehicle. The officer was armed with a second firearm as he began to pump gas into his car, Arlington police said. The off-duty officer than saw a four-door passenger sedan drive into the parking lot and eventually stop at the gas pump next to where he was standing. Several other customers were in the parking lot. He saw four young people in the car, and at some point, three of them exited the car and began to assault the officer. One suspect punched him in the face, and a second juvenile struck the officer with a handgun on top of his head, police said. The 12-year-old stayed in the car. The suspects stole the officers wallet and personal cell phone. In the Thursday hearings, there was no parent present for the 12-year-old and one 14-year-old boy, whose grandmother officials said did not have a car and didnt know how to work Zoom calls. The mother of the 14-year-old girl was at the Thursday hearing, and a father was there for another 14-year-old boy. https://www.yahoo.com/news/12-old-teens-accused-beating-234621602.html --- 32-13 |

| Topic | Voter fraud confirmed in 2020 Presidential Election |
| Everyonedies 12/22/20 2:59:11 PM #1 | Pennsylvania Trump supporter charged with voter fraud A Pennsylvania man has been charged with illegally casting a ballot for President Trump in the name of his deceased mother in this year's presidential election, authorities announced on Monday. Bruce Bartman faces two felony counts of perjury and one count of unlawful voting after casting an absentee ballot for Trump in the name of Elizabeth Bartman, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. In his political frustration, he chose to do something stupid, Samuel Stretton, Bartman's lawyer, told the newspaper. And for that he is very sorry. District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer told reporters at a news conference Bartman admitted he was able to register his dead mother to vote online and request an absentee ballot in her name, which he filled out and submitted. Bartman was also able to secure an absentee ballot in the name of his mother-in-law, who is also deceased, but did not cast a ballot in her name. For all the conspiracy theorists out there, this case today does not represent widespread voter fraud, Stollsteimer said. This case was evidence that one person committed voter fraud by casting an improper and illegal ballot. Local investigators said they began investigating when rumors began circulating about a ballot being illegally cast on social media. A complaint was eventually filed to the Delaware County Board of Elections, the Inquirer reported, and a task force was able to find evidence of a possible crime. In the hundreds of calls we received and the hundreds of visits we made, we only found one instance of malfeasance, and that was Mr. Bartman, said First Assistant District Attorney Tanner Rouse, the head of that task force. And he will be prosecuted. Bartman was arraigned on Friday and is out on bail. Since the state was projected for President-elect Joe Biden, Trump and his allies have alleged that widespread voter fraud led to a "rigged" election against the president. Election officials in Pennsylvania have said there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud and state courts have dismissed lawsuits brought forth by the Trump campaign contesting the election's result. Pennsylvania certified its election results on Nov. 24. https://thehill.com/homenews/531242-pennsylvania-trump-supporter-charged-with-voter-fraud Don't Do The Bartman! --- 32-13 |

| Topic | Trump planning to kill many more people in the final 6 weeks of Presidency |
| Everyonedies 12/07/20 12:11:35 PM #1 | As Donald Trumps presidency winds down, his administration is ratcheting up the pace of federal executions despite a surge of coronavirus cases in prisons, announcing plans for five starting Thursday and concluding just days before the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. If the five go off as planned, it will make 13 executions since July when the Republican administration resumed putting inmates to death after a 17-year hiatus and will cement Trump's legacy as the most prolific execution president in over 130 years. He'll leave office having executed about a quarter of all federal death-row prisoners, despite waning support for capital punishment among both Democrats and Republicans. In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Attorney General William Barr defended the extension of executions into the post-election period, saying hell likely schedule more before he departs the Justice Department. A Biden administration, he said, should keep it up. I think the way to stop the death penalty is to repeal the death penalty," Barr said. But if you ask juries to impose and juries impose it, then it should be carried out. The plan breaks a tradition of lame-duck presidents deferring to incoming presidents on policy about which they differ so starkly, said Robert Durham, director of the non-partisan Death Penalty Information Center. Biden, a Democrat, is a death penalty foe, and his spokesman told the AP that he'd work to end the death penalty when he is in office. Its hard to understand why anybody at this stage of a presidency feels compelled to kill this many people especially when the American public voted for someone else to replace you and that person has said he opposes the death penalty, Durham said. This is a complete historical aberration. https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-cementing-death-penalty-legacy-103213576.html --- 32-13 |

| Topic | The Revenge Porn Guy Was Just Elected To Office In Kansas |
| Everyonedies 11/05/20 4:47:23 PM #1 | As results for congressional races continue to roll in, we find ourselves with a few terrifying new members of American government: so far we have a QAnon-supporting candidate and a representative who said seeing Adolf Hiters vacation home in Germany was on his bucket list already elected. Now, Kansas added another problematic lawmaker to the mix by electing Aaron Coleman, also known as the guy who admitted to bullying, revenge porn, and blackmail[ing] of multiple girls while in middle school. Coleman ran unopposed after winning the Democratic primary for a seat in the Kansas Legislature against seven-term incumbent Stan Frownfelter. According to The Cut, though he had no direct opponent, there were two write-in candidates that received 2,013 votes to Colemans 3,496. Still, Coleman was elected and is now a state representative. But any astonishment at a person running for office at the age of 19 quickly dissipated in August when allegations of harassment and violence surfaced from former classmates. One such accusation involved Coleman reportedly obtaining a nude photo of one of his classmates and threatening to send it to her friends and family unless she sent him more photos. When she didnt, he made good on his threats and sent the photo to everyone she knew. Shortly after the news of his revenge porn scandal broke, Coleman said he would drop out of the race, but then quickly changed his mind claiming that his actions several years ago do not define who he is now. Some saw his behavior as indicative of someone unable or unwilling to sympathize with others, and of someone who chooses to deliberately inflict distress. Others believed Colemans promise that the actions of six years ago could not be further from his actions now. When reversing his decision to drop out, Coleman claimed that we NEED to focus on the fact that there is hopelessness among our young citizens, especially us men. Despite claiming that these brutal actions toward women were in his past, more recent accusations did not support that. A woman who started dating Coleman in November 2019 told the Intercept that he became enraged when she joked about breaking up with him. According to her, Coleman responded by slapping her and trying to choke her. She provided texts to the outlet showing that Coleman subsequently tried to gaslight her into thinking the assault never happened and encouraged her to kill herself. This is where you would assume a statement denying her claims would be written, but no. Coleman admitted to being abusive toward his ex. In spite of proof that he had a continued history of violence toward women, people were willing to chalk up objections to his candidacy to cancel culture. Coleman has yet to make a statement since winning the election, but the injustice of him being put into a position of representing the women he admitted to harassing will likely not be mentioned when he does. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/revenge-porn-guy-just-elected-154605243.html --- 32-13 |

| Everyonedies 10/28/20 9:35:33 AM #1 | Tom Brady claims on COVID-19 death toll, suicide deemed 'false' by PolitiFact Brady made the claim on an Instagram story. Bradys post was down after the PolitiFact story was published. Social media users captured screenshots of Bradys claim. More suicide deaths than coronavirus deaths last two months, Brady wrote. So wash your hands and wear your masks but dont forget to be nice to people and look after yourself. The statement was accompanied with a stamp reading Truth written in large font. PolitiFact wrote that it reached out to Brady to ask him where he got his information and that he didnt respond to their request. Instagram stories are set to expire after theyre published. Its not clear if Brady intentionally removed the post or if it simply expired as scheduled. On Tuesday, Tom Brady made a claim on Instagram that death by suicide has outpaced COVID-19 deaths in the last two months. PolitiFact, a website dedicated to combating misinformation and run by the Poynter Institute, looked into Bradys claim and concluded that the statement by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was false. The point is, no matter which recent months you take, COVID-19 has killed far more people than suicide has per month historically, PolitiFact concluded. Its also not clear where Brady got his information. But his statement echoes those made by President Donald Trump and frequently touted by right-wing media outlets in addressing the COVID-19 pandemic that had claimed more than 226,000 American lives as of Tuesday. PolitiFact researched Bradys claim by consulting the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) data on suicide rates and speaking with president of the American Association of Suicidology, Dr. Jonathan Singer. Singer told Politifact that suicide data lags, and that the conclusion Brady claimed in his Instagram post could not be reliably reached based on the limited information available. He also deemed the suicide rate that Brady claimed to be impossible. Theres no way this can be true, Singer told PolitiFact. ... For this to be right, you would need a rise in the suicide rate that is just impossible.Citing the NCHS, PolitiFact concluded that in 2018 the most recent year where reliable national suicide data can be gleaned the United States averaged 4,026 deaths per month by suicide. PolitiFact compared the suicide data with death tolls compiled by The COVID Tracking Project showing a monthly COVID-19 death toll of around four times that of past suicide death rates. Per PolitiFact, regarding COVID-19 deaths: Going back to June a month when deaths were falling it was about 19,000. Now, its about 22,000 people per month. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/politifact-concludes-tom-brady-claim-on-covid-19-deaths-and-suicide-is-false-005747917.html --- 32-13 |
