Don't see the relevance at all to how messed up a scene is. It was still the player doing it
Because it's a goofy-ass game. In Spec Ops you are bombarded with nothing but dourness, black morality

Metal Gear has a dude with a horn play splashfight with a bikini commando. They're just too tonally different. MGSV was goofy as shit with a lot of bad voice acting and writing so I just can't even begin to compare them

I don't remember 3, since I thought the story, gameplay, and characters sucked. My characters spoke to each other like barely a dozen times the whole game. 2 is a shitty game as well but the Anders plot was great for me

So don't vote democrat, as opposed to voting and proselytizing for an idiot maniac who is burning down the country to line his pockets, and also wants you and your loved ones dead. Like, brain dude.

That seems to indicate he'd beat goku 1v1

Also, jiren is a weird character to fanboy for

Those soldiers in metal gear had to die. Plus metal gear is incapable of being emotional, at least V is

I took it as a criticism of the modern shooter more than the player personally.

it's not feeling attacked, it's feeling like you're playing a game predicated on choice, and a pivotal moral decision is force-picked for you and you suffer moral consequences for doing something you had no choice in

i dont feel that way but i get it

The chantrywas evil. The templars were evil. They brutalized mages for how long? How many hundreds of thousands suffered over the centuries? Anders tried to do it the right way. Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable. He had to force their hand. The mages of kirkwall were absolutely brutalized by their regions church. He's a freedom fighter.

That's fair, but I saw Walker as myself and there is no way I could be content with living after finding out. Brutal.

when i play games, i can completely and utterly put myself in the player characters perspective. it really fucks me up. i cant do it with movies or shows. sometimes i can with books. but games, i am the player character. i feel disgusting.

I shot the ground at that part and was so fucking relieved the crowd dispersed

@UnholyMudcrab @DuranOfForcena

You guys played this right

Do you feel at all the same way

I just can't fault him at all for it. When I beat the game way back when, I took his side but admonished him for not telling me. But I can't blame him a single iota now. He did the right thing. I've been thinking about it for days, with nothing to provoke those thoughts. Disgusting.

The only thing I was really impressed by was when I was able to scatter the lynch mob by firing into the air. The big Willie Pete moment fell flat because it was clearly something that was required to advance the plot, and the constant admonishment by the game afterward was just annoying as a result.
I didn't even hesitate on the mortar. I even shot every dying soldier. When I saw the refugees i got a pit in my stomach and felt like fucking Hitler dude. I thought I was fighting a dictators jackboots. Didn't even flinch

I played that game back before the big reveal was common knowledge and it similarly traumatized me lol

What ending did you pick

For what it's worth the majority of people picked the one where he goes home
I killed myself instantly. There is no reality I can live with that shit. I don't know any of the other endings or how many there are. I can't see myself ever playing it again. It was disgusting.

Game was fucking nauseating. I knew it was fucking with me early on when my enemies seemed like normal everyday Americans. But jesus. Nauseating. I had no idea how far they'd take it. The loading screen 'tips' and the radio jockey taunting me. It was disgusting. I don't even know what were choices and what weren't.
